Click on the green box to the right of "Reputation" and enter in your comments in the box that pops up.

Please note, only certain areas of SD allow a person to give repoints.

I just tried in the Hot Deals forum and it wouldn't allow me. Any insight?

Can anyone tell me when I try to give a rep point, it looks like it's working and I can leave a comment but the actual rep number that the person has doesn't seem to increase by any. I want to make sure I'm doing it correctly so people get the points they deserve. Thanks in advance.

If you refresh the page it will show up.

it will not show up unless the user giving the rep has at least 50 posts. Anything less than 50 will be a gray rep which doesn't count.

But IIRC, turns green when the newbie racks up to 50 posts....I think....
