You have to play the game. It will ask you have one of these with a guy holding a Sobe lid. You click on No under Play Now and then just wait for everything to load. You have to pick a person to play and twist the lid and all this stuff but every day it at least gives you the BOGO coupon(at least for me so far!).

Yeah, I had already played the game and chose the blonde girl, and didn't win anything. This time I picked the cute dude with the nice hands (long fingers and nice nails), and I won! I got to print out one coupon before getting a runtime error, so at least I have one to use. Thanks and repped you!

Just a heads up so everyone should know about it.
CVS 7/4 ad scans (http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0ASJeJaVB4ZuiZGNuNTNqa25fNzg4Y3FmbTIyZ3Q&hl=en) points out that Gillette Pro glide fusion razor coupon coming out in P&G 7/4. (http://www.pgeverydaysolutions.com/pgeds/pg-brandsaver-samples-coupons.jsp)
And Rite Ad 7/4 scan (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=214974&t=2082330) confirms that coupon is $2 off Proglide razor.

If you are referring to the small window that pops up saying something about a runtime error, if you just ignore it (don't close it), you can still pageback and continue to print. HTH

If you are referring to the small window that pops up saying something about a runtime error, if you just ignore it (don't close it), you can still pageback and continue to print. HTHI have learned how to deal with that runtime error box that pops up.
Do NOT click on it to close it. If you do, your browser closes and you're out of luck.
Ignore it completely, and just keep hitting back however many times you need to. Only after you have printed your limit do you close it. Then you can restart your browser.

Okay, so I feel like an idiot asking this here, but I get the game and play and then it wants me to register so that I can get my winnings. Well, I do not have an account yet so I click to create an account. I fill it all in but there is no place to actually submit the data and establish the account. It is like the bottom inch of the webpage is missing. Any ideas?
I am not usually so dense but this one has me stumped. I have even tried on different computers and the same thing happens on all of them. I am soooo irritated with this game at this point, I had better win a grand prize for all the frustration. I even tried to go to sobe.com and find a place to create an account before playing the game and no go there.
Can anyone take pity on me and offer any suggestions????:worship:
Note--answer to my own problem:
Went to Pepsi.com and found the "Join Pepsi" link and registered my email addy there. THen I could play the game and sign in as a registered person. Thought I'd report back in case anyone else is having the same problem

Which browser are you using? I was using Chrome at first and it took a while, so I switched to FF... still look a long time but it eventually worked. I was able to register no problem.

Does anyone think that Olay will have another rebate? The current one is valid until 7/2. Seems like they have them going on pretty regularly. If so, I'll do the Olay deal on two cards: facial care & cleaner for $26 then serum for $25, get $20 back in ECB and $20 back in MIR, making it $11 oop + tax. Better deal if you can find some $3 off coupons & $/$$ too :)

Hehehehe....I just saw the Sobe BOGO deal in this thread's wiki.
EDIT: There is no BOGO CVS Q, just a deal that's going on. Sorry for the confusion!
The BOGO Sobe is seen on the first page of the ad. I just checked.

July Deals
Just came back from my CVS and saw tags up for CVS pantiners 22 ct 2/$1, buy2 get 1 ECB. I priced scanned it and it came up 99 cents. Then I noticed the tags said offer good 7/03-7/31.
I also saw tags on Carefree get $2ECB with the same dates.
I didn't buy either one because of the dates, but keep these two items in mind.

Supposedly, there is a big ECB deal coming up for the end of July ... I want to say buy a box for $22 and get $10 ECB back. Hope your CRT has a long expiration date!

:omg:WOW!!! I don't think I've ever seen so many $1 and $2 ECB items. CVS is REALLY making it hard. I believe our REAL slick deals are going to soon go the way of the dinosaur, and become extinct!!!:(
I have been doing this for 7 years, they are not going away, it's just a slower time.

If you got the CRT for $2 off Pantene, use it along with the BOGO coupon for the Pantene Restoratives in the 6/27 Parade magazine. I looked on CVS's website for Restoratives in the size bottle that's on sale and didn't see any listed, so I'm not 100% sure about this deal. But if it works, here's the math:
2 shampoos/conditioners $5.99 each, - $2 CRT - BOGO coupon and get back $4 EB ($2 for each, limit 2) = FREE

I probably would have gotten some anyway if I could have done the MM deal, but the Target here won't let you use additional $/? coupons with BOGO coupons. Not even if the BOGO is MQ and the $/? is TQ (or vice versa). One of the LOD's actually got really nasty with me about that subject over another deal a few weeks ago. :(
(Oddly enough, they will let you use a BOGO MQ with a BOGO TQ. Try to figure out their logic. )

Not really sure this will work. The ad says 25.4 oz bottles which are the big family size bottles not the restoratives. Hopefully it will include the restoratives but I love the deep conditioners. My store has a bunch of the old bottle on clearance for 50% off and I wonder if they will qualify for the $2 ECB.

The second item will ring up at 0.00, but I think if you let them scan one item first and then scan your card after that it might count towards the total, have never done that so not sure. But some cashiers may hit subtotal first and then it will not count towards total.

what could i be doing wrong? the registration page comes up with a captcha thing, but no button to click to 'enter' the info, so i get stuck on that page. screw it, i just gave away an entire box full of sobe because no one in my family will drink it, so i'm done bothering with the ipq for more of it. I'll console myself with more free razors and contact lens stuff next week.
ok, registering with sobe did not work, there was nothing on the screen to hit 'enter' for the captcha or other info, so I tried registering through the facebook link, that worked fine, and took me to the page to claim my prize (shocking, it was the b1g1f q), printed alot, maybe 20, i did not bother counting. i have no use for this stuff, but, it's free, so of course i'll be 'buying' lots of it.

Sobe is taxed in FL. The reason you weren't charged tax at Target is that Target deducts tax for both TQs and GC promotions - so if you bought 10 Sobes for $10 and then used $5 in TQs and received a $5 GC, that completely removed all your sales tax. (If you went this week without a GC deal and did the same transaction - assuming they're still $1 each - then you'd pay tax on $5.)
I don't know about NY, but there are totally different tax laws in every state. For example, I know Sobe is only taxed at the grocery rate in NC, rather than the full tax rate.
In FL though, if a product is called a "beverage" rather than a "juice," it's most likely taxed.

So how do you know when the store turns the deals on? Just by buying something?

So how do you know when the store turns the deals on? Just by buying something?
Check something you know is going on sale the next week at the price scanner. If it scans at the regular price, the sale is not on. But if it scans at next week's sale price, well, enjoy your early shopping :)

So how do you know when the store turns the deals on? Just by buying something?
Just scan an item you know is on sale next week but not this week and see what it says. If the deal is better next week, like the dvd with price of 6.99, the ecb won't print, but the store should print manually for you if you show them the current ad.

I just printed the thermacare coupon and the expiration date printed was 6/11/10
Mine is even better 01/25/2010:mad:
WTF is up with them?
Mine are good until the end of this month. I'd email or call because I've seen their commercial at least three times the past week. "Go to our website for a $3 off coupon."
If they're telling you to print a coupon, it'd be nice of them to let you print a valid one.

some items aren't. but i don't even know which item charges tax and what doesn't lol
what could i be doing wrong? the registration page comes up with a captcha thing, but no button to click to 'enter' the info, so i get stuck on that page. screw it, i just gave away an entire box full of sobe because no one in my family will drink it, so i'm done bothering with the ipq for more of it. I'll console myself with more free razors and contact lens stuff next week.
ok, registering with sobe did not work, there was nothing on the screen to hit 'enter' for the captcha or other info, so I tried registering through the facebook link, that worked fine, and took me to the page to claim my prize (shocking, it was the b1g1f q), printed alot, maybe 20, i did not bother counting. i have no use for this stuff, but, it's free, so of course i'll be 'buying' lots of it.
glad it worked for you. you can save these for halloween and give these out to the trick or treaters. they'll think it's a brick and never come back to your house.

When you say they are still printing 2 per win does that mean that the "you win a sobe coupon" is printable? I have no option to print that coupon what so ever. I just get the fields to enter my info and that the delivery time will be 8-10 weeks. My pop-up blocker isn't on, so I don't know if I am missing something from being able to print the coupons...TIA

For bogo sales how do they ring this up? I know at ra the second is rung as 0.00 so it doesn't count in your total, is this true for CVS. I am trying to figure out scenarios and don't know how to handle them.
The second item will ring up at 0.00, but I think if you let them scan one item first and then scan your card after that it might count towards the total, have never done that so not sure. But some cashiers may hit subtotal first and then it will not count towards total.
iseethedead, as GKS said sometimes the bogofree ones can count towards the total depending on how the cashier does it, but since it is so idiosyncratic, i never count on that happening. so i always meet my x/xx coupon thresholds without counting the bogo values. also, when cashiers don't hit subtotal until later, sometimes it can really mess you up, cos the system will keep taking your ecbs to pay towards the total and then delete the bogos after, and then your ecbs are gone as payment and you have a negative subtotal, leaving you in a mess and having to scramble for product. no fun.
The Sobe limit is 6. I wonder if I'd be allowed to use 6 of the same IP in a transaction. They've each got a unique PIN, though. Should be interesting.
I believe they're $1.49 here in my corner of NC. Upper limit stated on the coupon is $1.69, FWIW.
dionada, those IPs should be just fine no problem. each with a separate pin means they are in fact not the same IP but 6 individual IPs with traceable individual PINs. you are good to go. shouldn't be interesting at all. should be just plain, everyday, ho-hum coupon transaction. 6 items. 6 coupons. end of story.
Not fixed for me reprint q and it expires on 6/20/10. Not as old but the date is still passed. Oh well I guess I am not buying thermcares.
for those of you getting old dates on your thermacare prints -
1) have you cleared cookies on your computer? these could be remnants from before.
2) have you tried using a different email etc than you used before?
i wonder if it just pulling up qs you might have printed before.
I didn't print it today, but I read elsewhere it's back to allowing only 2 prints per computer like a normal Bricks coupon.
2 prints per email/character, right? also i wonder if in resetting limits, they actually ended up resetting the q so those who printed before can print again?
I now live near a CVS with self-checkouts. Would any SD-er advise me on how the SCO takes BOGO free coupon? Does it automatically deduct the price like Stop & Shop register or needs price input like Shaw's register? TIA :)
wasn't this question posted on another cvs thread too, or am i just imagining the deja vu? :insane:
the SCO will announce loudly "coupon not accepted" and then the SCO supervising cashier will have to come over and put in the q manually. the reason for this is that bogo's normally beep/prompt for price at CVS manned registers (just as they do at walgreens or shaws and most other chains). and so since you as a customer are not allowed to willy nilly enter a price, SCO register just rejects your auto coupon entry.
haven't had problems having an SCO cashier enter the price though. however, as someone else said, if you have a whole slew of bogo qs, it's better to go to a regular register. ironically, it will be a more :ninja: transaction that way, because the price prompt for a bogo q is just an everyday thing.
I'm interested in knowing too...
And what happens when you buy more than 6- does the register not ring it up BOGO?
The last time they had the DiGiorno Pizza BOGO, the limit was 2. I bought 6 (without realizing the limit) and when I got home, the receipt showed 6.99, 0.00, 6.99, 0.00, 6.99, 6.99. :( I can only assume the same thing would happen if more than 12 Sobes were purchased. If anyone can confirm, it would be much appreciated.
in the past in all bogo sales, when they've enforced the limit by price, it has just meant that the limit exists per transaction, not per card or per household. those card limits are for the ecb deals. which means that you could always just buy the same number again in another transaction.
i have occassionally had a cashier look at some sale item like dawn for example where they had a gazillion bottles on the shelf and so i bought say 8 or 10 and they say "what is the limit on this? oh it says 6, i can only let you get 6, but you can get the remaining in another transaction." but i'd say in 7 months of cvs'ing that has only happened once or twice. so... YMMV.

no, I only bought 6 bottles per trans, used 3 bogo mqs per trans...my store only had 26-28 bottles in the cooler, so I couldn't try any higher, but as someone asked me earlier about whether the receipt said anything under the Sobe about a limit--it did not and so it indicates to them anything over 6 per trans would still ring at bogo. I think they put the limit in the ad in case they need to limit someone, not necessarily to automatically limit everyone...
If your CVS is out of stock, you can still get free Sobe, check my siggy for the link to the Target thread...in the wiki is info on Sobe Target coupons...Sobe is $1 this and next week at T, use the bogo mq & 2 store Qs, 2 free Sobe.

Should be. I guess I'm just too accustomed to the limits in place in all the grocery stores around here. I feel like there will always be some people who think you're trying to get one over on them, no matter how you try to explain things. (Like the guy who wanted to make me do 3 different transactions for 3 $2/1 Tampax insert coupons. Even though the manager said "just take them," I still feel like he's wary of me. Maybe I'm just paranoid.)

Yes, it's a monthly deal for July, 7/3-7/31, according to the tags at the store I just came back from. Here are the tags I noticed:
ECB deals:
-CVS pantiliners - buy 2/$1, get 1 ECB (Limit 1, but higher according to saverintraning's post)
-Buy selected Carefree or O.B products, get 2 ECB (Limit 1)
-Buy Motrin PM caplets 40-80 ct, get 3 ECB (Limit 4)
-Buy Nature Made Sleep softgels 30ct, get 4 ECB (Limit 5)
-Bengay selected products $5.99, get 2 ECB (Limit 1)
-Bausch & Lomb Biotrue Multi-purpose solution 2 oz $2.99, get 2.99 ECB (Limit 1, but really 2 with this week's deal)
non-ECB deals:
-Gerber baby foods, buy 2 get 1 free
-CVS baby products (shampoo, oil, powder etc), buy 1 get 1 50% off
There were other tags for the monthly deals, but they were just $x off sales. HTH. Please move this to the monthly thread if needed :)

I purchase 2 CVS pantiliners. Tag on the shelf said 99 cents each but they rang up 2/$1 and spit out 1EB and limit not reached after buying 2.
I'm assuming this must be a monthly deal for July, but I don't see a July thread. Anybody have more details on this?
The tag at my store said buy CVS pantyliner 22ct 2/$1 and get $1 ecb 7/3-7/31 Limit 1
Also saw these tags: Buy selected Carefree or OB products get $2 ecb's 7/3-7/31 Limit 1 (all the Carefree pantyliners had tags except the 22ct.)
Motrin PM $3 ecb wyb 40ct. $9.99 or 80ct. $12.99 caplets 7/3-7/31 Limit 4
Nature Made Sleep softgels 30ct. (sorry didn't get price) $4 ecb 7/3-7/31 Limit 5
Saw LOTS of products with $off monthly tags on them with no ecb. To many to write down. Maybe I should start a thread if one hasn't already been started. :dontknow:

the SCO will announce loudly "coupon not accepted" and then the SCO supervising cashier will have to come over and put in the q manually. the reason for this is that bogo's normally beep/prompt for price at CVS manned registers (just as they do at walgreens or shaws and most other chains)....
Thank you for the help. I was the person who posted the question in this thread but later found "CVS coupon use" thread to be more appropriate. One thing to add is that if anyone expects $0 oop transactions, it's best to avoid SCO as well because the light will signal to "pay cashier." Unless you have cashiers who are used to seeing $0 total, they will blame you for not knowing how to scan your items and select payment option.

I tried to get 12 bottles of Sobe in one transaction and 6 of them were 0.00, BUT the cashier wouldn't let me use all 6 Qs, so I ended up getting only 8 bottles (she allowed 4 Qs). If your cashier is cool about Qs, you may be able to get 12 in one transaction.
The cashier and asst. manager read the fine prints that said only one coupon per purchase and wanted to limit me to one coupon, because apparently someone higher up made a big deal about it to them. They were obviously unhappy about the B1G1 Q on a B1G1 item, and even warned me that they won't accept it next time.

I'm interested in knowing too...
And what happens when you buy more than 6- does the register not ring it up BOGO?
My experience has typically been when the ad says "limit 6" it means limit of 6 deals as advertised, so 12 bottles. But -- I always ask first, especially if there's not much of a product. I asked tonight and the asst mgr said to go for it, she'd void the transaction if it didn't work, and she wasn't concerned about qty. 6 rang up at regular price and 6 at 0.00. Used 6 BOGO Qs (I always have been able to at CVS) so I got 12 bottles for (tax + bottle deposit).

I am seeing $1/1 Bounty Paper Towels Q's ebay from this upcoming sunday P&G...
Are these going to be regional?
*snip*
There was a $1/1 Bounty MQ (exp.7/31/10) in my 6/6 PG but have not seen this listed on any of the databases I search. This was prob. regional too.
It states: $1.00 off any one Bounty 6-roll ct. towels or larger or two towels or napkins any size.
I never get the Covergirl MQ's in my PG though.
Somewhat OT here but, the CVS coupon discussion thread is retired :(
I had a very young SM tell me tonight that she can NOT allow me to use BOGO MQ's on the BOGO Sobe :facepalm2:
I had 6 Sobe and 3 BOGO MQ's. My cashier was scanning my Q's when the SM so rudely interupted and said "Oh no, she can't use those Q's. She will get them for free"
Duh......
Then she said "how do I know that these aren't just copied ?" I showed her the individual pin #'s. I just went to another CVS and did my tranny but, she was horrible :omg:
CS was closed but, will be calling Monday morning.
Btw, I had a printed email from CS bout the BOGO sales/MQ's. She didn't care.
Not, trying to discourage anyone. Just really . And I've always found it best to try another store. Kinda like WAGS (YMMV)

A few years ago, I had CS tell me they had to accept a BOGO q on a BOGO sale "for legal reasons". What those "legal reasons" are, I don't know, and what any given CS rep might tell you when you call, who can say?
I did get 16 packages of Stayfree for free with last week's BOGO sale coupled with the BOGO qs. CS told me they try not to run BOGO sales when BOGO qs are out there.

i've never had that problem with 0 OOP transactions. but, sometimes, because of an issue with cvs registers that i don't understand, a 0 will revert to - 0.03 cents. going negative on the SCO is a problem. that happened to me once. and they had to cancel the transaction at that register and then pull it up at the regular. shift super was a real nice guy so just did it without having to pull out all qs and make a big drama. but, that's definitely something to watch for... stay above 0 even by a few cents if at SCO.
I tried to get 12 bottles of Sobe in one transaction and 6 of them were 0.00, BUT the cashier wouldn't let me use all 6 Qs, so I ended up getting only 8 bottles (she allowed 4 Qs). If your cashier is cool about Qs, you may be able to get 12 in one transaction.

the cashier and asst mgr were wrong. you were right and you were abiding by cvs rules and limits. email customer service and complain, so you can talk to District Manager and store can be trained.

you can also email. i like emailing because it allows me to put my side in writing, and write it up thoughtfully without anyone interrupting, misinterpreting, or conveying the wrong information down the chain. and that way once it is in writing, when the DM gets your message the ball is in their court to make it right. keeps you from getting different right/wrong responses from the CS call-in.

Just in.
My CVS does not carry any of the Post cereals that the $2 coupon is for. I mistakenly picked up Kellogg's Raisin Bran instead of POST Raisin Bran (who knew there was a difference? lol)...but caught it at the register when it rang up $2.50 not $3.33 (3/$10 price). Anyways, just grabbed Honey Bunches of Oats instead as my 3rd Post cereal and did not use the coupon. Ah well.
Bausch and Laumb is Limit 2, but that's only 1 for this week and 1 for the monthly. Don't expect to get the ECB again when it shows up in the ad later this month, if you buy 2 now. ECB does print for 2 if purchased together.
Look for the endcap display of the Dove shampoo/conditioner that's 33% more free. They ring up $3 and produce ECBs :) They are the new style bottles...
Proglide also rang $8.97 for me. ECB did not print. I didn't notice til I got home...will go back tomorrow. I suspect it's an issue with last weeks sale price. Should be good to go after 3am.

I just had the worst transaction in a long time. First, the $4/20 beeped and the cashier wouldn't take it. Even the manager said that they couldn't take it because it didn't scan. This is my "home" store, so this is a big loss for me :crying: I just ate the $4 this time because I had the DVD in my order. But in the future, I have to drive 10 miles RT to the next closest CVS! I haven't been able to find the M&M pretzels all week, so I missed out on that freebie. I got the picture maker DVD, but it didn't scan at $6.99 or even $9.99, but the regular price of $14.99 ... had to get a manual price override & a manual print of the ECB too.

so just go to the store next time, and try using an x/xx again. sometimes people say things once just cos they're not annoyed or something happened with someone else, or they don't feel like dealing or whatever.
just go and use. if it beeps, tell them you know it always beeps for my card and stores always let me use it. if it's a problem here then i just won't be able to shop at your store.
be polite, not confrontational. just matter of fact and cool. but make the point that really, it's no big deal, it's not like you just out of the blue showed up at this store with a coupon. and then either they will push it through and you've made your point, end of story, or they won't and they've made their point - they don't care about your business that much at that store. then you know you'll go elsewhere.
and somewhere along the way, cvs corporate really needs to get its act together when it comes to sending out the coupons. if you want to encourage business, then send them to everyone on the email list. or print them in the paper once a month, like P&G does with its inserts. this cat and mouse game with beeps and cashiers and managers questioning and denying and associated drama is really a pointless waste of consumer time.

Not all areas had the 6 limit. There were some regional ads that did not have any limit posted.
ETA:Technically even if she had the limit of 6, she did all separate transactions, which is not abusing the deal since it is limited per transaction not card!

If the $4/20 does work when it isn't 'yours' then you got a bonus savings.
10 miles RT :lmao: our stores is 16 miles RT and Wags is further!

Not really, my being in TX and you are up the globe :) I have over 20 CVS in 15-mile radius. Easy to accomplish.
50 sobe for $2.50, sorry store only has 2 left.
Sadly my uneducated cashier, even after showing her the cvs coupon policy I had, still thinks that a purchase is a transaction. Therefore my cashier felt it was necessary to only use one coupon per transaction. 25 transactions and one hour later, because I let people go ahead of me when necessary, now I'm home with a fridge that looks like sobe fraternity. I hope there are some winning caps.

Got one like that yesterday. Will be re-educating him on Monday. After I offered him to check out 6 times, he said he would do everything in 1 transaction one time for me. He just does not know who he said that to.

Do you have multiples of the Olay Regenerist facial cleanser coupons? I bought 4 Olay Regenerist facial cleansers on sale @ 6.99 minus 2 $5 off any Loreal Regenerist facial cleaners from Years of Savings Booklet minus 2 $1 off any Olay facial cleanser from inserts, spent bucks I had to burn & then got $10 back. correct, no limits in some area, 6 pairs per transaction in other areas.
but also, there is no abuse here - let's be clear, cvs is selling product and making money. sobe is building brand loyalty and getting new customers/getting the word out. it's a win-win. plus you could've always special ordered sobe into your store.

I think it would still scan because the register "remembers" you had $20 worth of stuff. Convincing the cashier to scan it though is another issue by itself :D
has never worked like that for me. if they scan other mqs first, the register will beep and indicate not enough value for the q. that happened to me a couple of times because some cashiers new on the job scanned the other qs first, and at the time i had just begun cvs'ing. so cashiers and i learned together. :D
I know it is pretty hard to read the whole thread when there are a whole 240 posts before yours, but if you had read the thread, it is mentioned at least half a dozen times that the limit is in fact two and several that bought two at one time.

Thanks, I saw that but figured it was a moot point, as our Sunday paper cost $2 and I'd have to spend $4 upfront to get two coupons to use.
Also, I forgot to mention but today I saw on top of the RIB magazines on the stand when you walk in the door some new coupon flyers. This might have been mentioned before. It says "Shop CVS pharmacy, Store coupons over $30 in savings". Has many coupons inside including $2 off any full size Bioluxe purchase. Coupon starts with a 4, so looks like a CVS one, but many of the coupons in the flyer are manuf. coupons. If there's not a list of the coupons in this flyer somewhere already, I'll type them up.
