You guys have GOT to get rid of that banner ad that talks to you about speeding up your computer. I was sitting in my office last night and from out of nowhere I hear this voice. Needless to say it startled me. I'm sure it's done this to a few other folks out there...
If you can bag this ad....please do it!

Hahaha, yeah those are the worst! :lol: I was surfing after a scary movie once and I had my speakers way up and one of those ads almost knocked me out of my chair!

The ad only appears in IE so I wasn't aware of it until someone emailed me yesterday. The banner ads are run by a third party so it takes a day for changes to take effect. Should be gone by now.

Hey, thanks for that...only in IE eh? interesting...I never knew ad's were browser specific...I'm switching to Firefox anways! I'm tired of having to constantly reload the page in IE to get the latest...really been a problem lately.

Ads can be browser specific because the browser clients usually send to the web server the type and version of web browsing client is used.
