circle in bottom left corner?

now that reputation is gone :yay: , I am left wondering what this little red circle in the bottom left of my posts mean? Mine has been green before, but other folks seem mostly to have a grey one.

Assuming you're takling about the status circle, if you hover your mouse over it, you'll see whether or not that person is online (ie browsing the forums). I've never seen a read one, only grey (offline) and green (online).

I guess red means invisible. NO wonder I never see anyone else with red. And here I thought I was special or something.
