The "What I got Free in the Mail Today" master thread is pretty old (dates back to 2003, I believe) As such, lots of newbies come along, read the first post, then start asking where they can get the crackers that Lux (The OP) mentioned.
What do you all think of either starting a new master thread, or perhaps weeding out the current one so that it reflects freebies from, say, the past month or two? It might also clear up a tad bit of SD server space to remove all of those posts! :)

Maybe a six month rolling master thread? Start a new one every six months or so and close the old one?

Maybe compromise and make it 4 months? ;) J/K. I am happy either way.

I think that's a good suggestion! Six months sounds very reasonable. I also suggest that in order to keep the thread focused and uncluttered, that people stick to "what they've gotten in the mail" and related questions/answers, and leave the chatter for the Lounge.
