I did a search on the word "honey" (w/out quotation marks), this is what I got http://forums.slickdeals.net/search.php?searchid=5689374 (listed below). Granted some of these have something to do with honey, but "Tango Magazine"? I do not think so. Also there were 3 pages and only page 1 would come up. Please PM me when this is fiqured out because I really want to know whats up.

Maybe you could limit it to searching just the title?

I could view all the pages btw....so I dont know whats up with that?

Search for sue bee honey and not just what the product is.
I think the search feature doesnt search just titles but the words in each thread. So if honey was typed anywhere it will pick it as a match.

Maybe it would be better if it searched only thread titles. Also some people are lazy about searching!

I searched for just sue bee honey and your post came up here.

There probably will be a college course on "How to Search on the Internet," if there isn't one already!

When search results aren't what we expect, we need to adjust our search terms and tactics and not blame the data being searched:

Used the Advanced Search option!

If you find that many of the irrelevant posts contain a common word, then remember to negate that word in your next search. For example, search on "honey -love -sexy -magazine" to limit your search. Also, limit the forum sections you search, such as looking only the Hot Deals section or maybe the Freebies section....I think the search feature doesnt search just titles but the words in each thread. So if honey was typed anywhere it will pick it as a match.

Maybe it would be better if it searched only thread titles. Also some people are lazy about searching!...The user can select if the search is of titles or text.

I always search general, then get more specific if I find too many matches
