April 2006
We've developed an exciting, and free, program for children ages two, three and four and parents alike living in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama or Tennessee. It's educational, but it's also entertaining. We call it Publix Preschool Pals.
Here's what you get: information to help your children realize their full potential, access to an information-rich Web site, a quarterly newsletter, prizes, cards on their birthdays, a very cool activity book for two-year-olds, and a one-of-a-kind CD ROM when your children turn three. Please note, the Publix Preschool Pals program is offered in English only.
Why is Publix doing this? Well, each of us at Publix cares about children. We care about their health and happiness. And we care about yours as well. Publix Preschool Pals just seemed like the right thing for us to do.
To sign up for Publix Preschool Pals, all you need to do is complete our registration form. Have fun.

This is pretty cool. My daughter has been signed up since she turned 1 and she's 4 now. They send cute little things every so often not just on birthdays. She recently received a wrist coin purse that looks like a soft cheetah head. Sign up it's really worth it!

Same here. My daughter has loved everything she's gotten. She still plays her cd-rom from them. Lots of good stuff for little ones.

I did this just to see what would come and today I got a:
Publix Preschool Pals Coloring Fun and Activities Book
with Plato the Publixasaurus and your preschool pals trading cards
It's SO cute and, it came with a wall-hanging Growth Chart featuring the Publix Preschool pals characters. You hang it on the wall with the bottom of the chart 22 inches from the floor and it has spaces for you to mark off the date & height of your child as he or she grows.
Before they sent this, they sent the CDRom of games featuring the same characters.
They may have sent the coloringbook as a birthday gift because I used my neighbor's child's birthday which is monday.* Boy won't she be happy when I give her this for her birhtday? Yay!
* Her mom doesn't like junk mail so she asks me to have freebies for her daughter mailed to me and then I bring them over. They live in an apartment building where anything that can't fit in the small mailbox tends to get dumped into a communal box and sometimes her neighbors take stuff that doesn't belong to them. ARRGH. I don't mind though - gives me a chnace to bring her daughter presents!

Yesterday I got another nice surprise from Publix as part if this program - they sent two reflective Bike license plates featuring Baron the Saint Bernard who is one of their "pals".
It seems they send a little gift for the kiddies with every newsletter mailing. How generous!
This is very worth signing up for.

yesterday I got 2 cute jigsaw puzzles from the Preschool Pals. These folks are mighty generous!
Sign your family up once and they will keep sending you nice things all year round.
BTW - I signed up to see how it would work and I give the items to the family down the street with preschoolers so the items aren't wasted. That family lives in an apartment building and so getting freebies ais hard for them - if it won't fit in their little tiny mailbox, it gets dumped into a communal bucket and dishonest people steal the goodies. I register for them for the kiddy stuff and then bring it on over to them as a surprise.

We received two cute picture frames from them last week, has magnets on back for the fridge and also the tab to set them on a desk.
Nice little freebie and the kids were so excited.
