I see forum tools that allow for printable versions, but one thread I'm reading is 98 pages long and it would be alot easier if I could download it as a text, pdf, rtf or document file. Copying and pasting page by page would take about an hour as would saving each page to an mht file.

can always use a free prorgram like cutepdf
http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
to "print" to pdf. it'll basically just make a pdf copy.

Additionally, you can change the number of posts to display per page in your User CP, if you haven't yet. Which would cut down on the number of pages.
