I'm hoping someone can help me here... This seems like such a stupid problem! I have to be missing something simple.
OK... I download all my messages to CSV, I look at the CSV file (w/ Excel, for example), and I see all the fields that I need/want. I tell MS Outlook (2003) to import from the CSV. I import the messages, but none of them show their received/sent dates.
So I try the import again, and this time I click "Map to Custom Fields", just to see what Outlook is going to put where. I see that all the fields in the CSV map to an Outlook field... EXCEPT there is no Outlook field for DATE (so the CSV's Date values are being ignored)! -??? This is a pretty important field to be missing. Anyone know why this DATE field would not be present here? Or a way I can add it? Importing my messages into Outlook is kinda useless without the ability to sort them based on date.
Thanks for any assistance!
