This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

Get it straight. I did not close the thread. I modded it days before it was closed, it got closed for a few minutes. I never modded it again, others did. The mods closed the thread because of multiple reports, and I;m sure they got tired of cleaning out the OT posts (you DO realize they have to take time to manually remove them?).

The people ignoring the rules, even after being warned multiple times BY THE MODS, caused the thread to close.

IOW, they only have themselves to blame. And until they get that, it will just happen to them again.

Twist reality any way you want, it won't stop the fact that the OT abusers killed the thread.

You act like a bunch of 3 years olds, then act like 2 year olds when called on it. I alerted the mods once. The thread was shut down multiple times, so those children were obviously pissing a lot of people off with their total disregard for the rules.

I read someone else got a duplicate as well.. very cool. The CSR told me yesterday that my camera and mystery gift will ship in 12-16 weeks.. however.. I did not qualify for the mystery gift.. I had no extra points.. so.. dont know whats up with that but I'll take it... altho I have several of their ash trays already.. I like the lil purse one... when im out and about I refuse to toss a spent butt on the ground.. so it has proven quite useful.

Called Marlboro today, spoke with Muareen. The netbooks are still out of stock and they are waiting on more to come in. She said that she thinks it will be a while and will more then likely take the full time to receive. I said that is upsetting since hubby got his camera within a week or two after ordering. She said she understand and this is the only prize that is on back order. Since I will be moving next month, I ask what happens if they still have not shipped, she said I will need to call in and change my addrees, which is not a big deal. So the wait continues... at least the new baby will help me take up the time! :D

I ordered the bike, the cig. case, coupons and special gift. Received the coupons, got an e-mail that the case has shipped. Talked to customer service today about the bike and they said to give it 4 full weeks but could receive earlier. I wish I had come across the original blog before the contest was over. It looked like it was a lot of fun for you all. Hopefully I can take part in the next Marlboro contest. When i got home this morning (i work nights) my wife had dinner ready (my fave meal: steak and mac n cheese) and she couldnt stop smiling. It seemed kinda odd so i asked her what was up. She said nothing and giggled. well i thought no more of it and enjoyed my meal. (yummy)

Then after eating she cuddles next to me on the couch (which is nice) and whispers in my ear.....

Hi everyone! returned from the hospital yesterday and was HOPING to see my pretty notebook, but sadly no..lol.. did get my diaper bag and other baby goodies I ordered from Amazon.

Called Marlboro today, spoke with Muareen. The netbooks are still out of stock and they are waiting on more to come in. She said that she thinks it will be a while and will more then likely take the full time to receive. I said that is upsetting since hubby got his camera within a week or two after ordering. She said she understand and this is the only prize that is on back order. Since I will be moving next month, I ask what happens if they still have not shipped, she said I will need to call in and change my addrees, which is not a big deal. So the wait continues... at least the new baby will help me take up the time! :D

As I have noted before, I mod alerted once, and only once, and it was the first time the thread was closed. The thread was closed several times afterwards, none from my urging. Even others within this thread have noted others alerted the thread.

As I have noted before, I mod alerted once, and only once, and it was the first time the thread was closed. The thread was closed several times afterwards, none from my urging. Even others within this thread have noted others alerted the thread.

The thread was not closed from my actions. It was closed by OT posters. Can't handle the truth? Tough, there it is. People trying to change it by blaming me isn't going to change the fact that repeated OT postings closed it.

And until you get that straight, and learn from it, get used to most of your threads outside The Lounge being shut down by the mods for OT posting (not that I know of, or care, if you have started any other threads outside of The Lounge).
