What type of headset is best for PC use?

It seems I missed the great Senheiser 201 or 202 deal for under $20 deal, but I am still curious about what is the best type of headset to use at the PC. I have always used a USB type that has the headset with the mic attached, but I never need or use the mic. I actually do not use USB, but rather the 2.5 or whatever that size jack is but I say USB because that is the best I can get to the style of headset I am referring to. Is there a best type or style of headset to use for PC listening mostly to movies or occasionally to music? Thanks.

My Samsung YP-K3 MP3 player died a while ago but the earbuds will not quit and still have amazing rich sound and deep bass. I think the earbud business is a bunch of marketing hype - like sunglasses and perfume. With most earbuds you are definitely not getting what you pay for. Try these and you won't be sorry.... prices vary from 4 bucks to 20.

search for EP - 380 Must say "Samsung" on them or don't buy.
