Would you want to be in a freebie swap?
I would match up people. Everyone sends someone else $5-10 of freebies they have gotten in the mail. We all have some stuff just laying around that we don't want. It must be NEW and UNUSED.
Give a week to sign up.
Two weeks to get to the PO.
Anyone that signs up and doesn't hold up their end would be held accountable.
Just so we don't get in trouble for doing it on here.
IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS PLEASE PM ME!
We will do this off of SD!

I'll give the poll a couple of days. If we go through with this I'll ask for that info too!

What's the celery option? Does that mean we can swap unwanted veggies from our fridge?

This is a nice idea...I would also love it if SD opened a separate section for coupon swap. There are tons of coupons and GCs to be traded!

According to the rules, you can't trade high value ($5+) items. I'd be all for a freebie swap, if it's allowed. :)

You like I freaking know. I just know darn near every poll on this site has celery as an option so I put it on mine.

Well freebies are FREE.
Well if it's not allowed I have a back up plan.

Considering LandofOz cited the rules correctly, do tell.

If it's not through SD, I don't care. But if it's on SD...it will come to a stop.

even if it's not thru SD, it'll be SD members so just be sure if something goes wrong in the swap, no one, under any circumstances, should go to an SD mod to complain or try to get a mod to mediate the problems.
some foreseeable problems are...either someone didn't get their stuff, someone getting broken items, someone getting used items, etc..

Yes...if used outside of SD, the person can't not be punished anywhere in SD by NERPS or Warnings

Hence why delivery confirmation is worth the $.XX extra!

I think this is a bad ideal. What about people
who don't send their end? There would have to be a list
and that is never good because there are tons of bad traders
out there. Trust me, I've been trading and swapping for years.
You take everyone with a grain of salt after sending and wasting
the time & effort then getting nothing back.

In a perfect world this would be a lot of fun, unfortunately I've also had my fair share of dealings with bad traders. :(

Sswaps are a bad idea on large sites. if you want to do one off SD fine but don't discuss it on SD or advertise it on SD. if you can't do it on SD, my understanding is, you cannot promote it on SD either.
