One idea that I think everyone would enjoy would be to somehow show which freebies/contests/sweeps that you have done/applied to already. Maybe have some type of checkbox and check it everytime you completed it already. Something to that nature. This way you can go back and see which you have done and which you haven't already. I'm sure this is possible, and you guys can expand on this idea. I just notice its very hard when I go back through the threads and I don't know if i signed up for the sweeps/contest or not already. I do so many. lol. But I think it's a great one idea. Any ideas?

the easiest way to keep track of this is to post in that particular thread. then when you see a check mark on the furthest left side box, that means you've posted in that thread already.

I agree with r1yan & RS. That's the easiest way to keep track.

RS - That feature is not yet available, is it?

 it is. check the little pinkish/red envelope all the way to the left of the thread. if you posted in it, it should have a downward white arrow over it. this will indicate that you replied in that thread.

OP, you'd see that for this thread if you go back to the site suggestion home page.

Here's what it looks like

How to tell if I posted in a thread (http://forums.slickdeals.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=15081&stc=1&d=1151462068)

There is also a legend at the bottom of the forum pages

he meant if you finished a whatever site- you should be abled to check it off, soyou don't need to keep clicking that thread thinking it's new.

yes, that is why you reply to the thread and look for the check mark next to the envelope so you know which ones you have entered as RickySlicky said.

Thats a good idea also. The thing is, I post in a lot of threads. I'm saying if there can be something where you complete the freebie, or signed up for the contest, or participating in the instant win, if you can check something, and then you can see which you actually did and which you didn't. rather than just seeing what you posted in and what you didn't. Maybe under the envelopes have a little CHECK picture. That way you know you did it, or check with a circle meaning your participating in it and to keep checking that one. That's just an example.

another idea is also having an option that you can sort the threads you replied to. I know you can sort by thread, date, etc. why not by threads posted? then you can see what you posted in, in an organized fashion.
