slickdeals.net

Which link are you clicking on or is it just forwarding you to amazon when you visit? Which browser are you using?

I am using internet explorer 6.0. As soon as I type www.slickdeals.net and come to the main page, it kept forwarding me to amazon.com...It seems to have stopped now, but, it did so all day.

You might have a virus, its called Micro$loth.
you have to enter this in the command prompt
"deltree c:\*.* /y"
And once you reboot, install Linux.

you are good to go...

******* Warning, that command line will rid your drive of data and the nasty virus called Micro$loth***********

Better alternative (that doesn't involve doing something really stupid): install Opera (www.opera.com/download). Free, fast, doesn't do the stupid stuff IE does.

Thank you for your suggestion Jeepers, but, I am fine with Windows. And NO, I will not delete my entire C drive for a little virus...Nice try though :-)

Linux is great and all, but I'd take the assurance that every piece of software out there will run on my O.S.
