How come in firefox the homepage isn't stretched all the way like this for example

In FF, mine is stretched. I probably has to do with your screen size/resolution.

I use FF and it looks normal to me (not stretched out)

AFAICT it renders the same in Opera and Firefox, but wider in IE (this at 1280x1024). It may be tied to IE's severly broken way of rendering CSS's maxwidth property. Workarounds for IE bugs sometimes make pages look a little different in IE than in other browsers.

I've noticed that lately my FF doesn't open to the full screen automatically either. I'm sure it's not a slickdeal issue.
