phrase search

Someone please help. How can I do a phrase search? When I try a search for "big dog", even with quotes (or the plus sign big+dog) I am getting results for anything big and all dogs. How do I find posts with the two words "big dog" as a phrase?

Slickdeals' built-in search isn't so hot; it's very processor-intensive (the server's, not yours) and doesn't have many features. You can try a third-party search engine. For example, you can go to google and search for:
"big dog" site:slickdeals.net

Of course, the results will only be as recent as the google spider's last sweep of the site.

if you remember which forum you saw the phrase in, you can narrow down your search by using the "advanced search" feature.
