The drug would be absorbed very quickly (it is also absorbed through skin when in solution.....the drug comes as a white powder but is readily dissolved in methanol) and enter into your system. A high enough dose will not only numb any pain but will also potentially stop your respiration....which could lead to death if not treated quickly. We have a special drug (forget the name) that will help kickstart your breathing if you are exposed to a high enough dose of this drug. If you are allergic to morphine then you would most likely be allergic to fentanyl.

We are currently testing the patches for stability issues over time to make sure they hold up, maintain their purity and effectiveness, etc. This drug is mainly given to people who have become morphine tolerant. In other words they have had so much that morphine no longer does the job. So you usually end up having people take fentanyl who are chronically ill, cancer patients, terminally ill, etc. But you will also see some doctors administer it in small doses for when you get a colonoscopy (I don't speak from experience....Lux....haven't you had a few? Maybe you got fentanyl) and other situations.

Nothing. No restrictions for me since I don't have any problems.

For others... Diet restrictions. Food that would inflame the bowls or get caught up kind of like diverticulitis. It is not treatable. Only surgery to remove deceased sections of your bowls. Not good.

I've been awake for one of them. It is only slightly uncomfortable when they make the turns. It is rather narrow in diameter and well lubed. Hope this description doesn't get this thread deleted.
