This is a place you can post any deal you found at any grocery stores in PNW region (except Safeway, who has it's own thread). Thank you to everyone, who contributes to this thread.

I noticed there is an online purchase minimum. What else did you have to buy?
i think she got it at renton where there is no min. people have reported no min at some stores while places like bellevue have a min. of $10. the stores around me are $3-4, which isn't too bad. just buy drinks or a side. thread:
here (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2763199). :D
Yep no minimum in Renton. My OOP was $0.
It looks like you can do carryout too:
You can use the code for carryout at any of the locations listed under the info tab if you live outside the delivery area for those stores
I chose carryout. If you choose delivery you pay a delivery fee and a tip. Papa Johns pizza is not very good. Personally I wouldn't pay more than a few bucks for one. :shake::lol:

I like it if it's free. :D I like Jet City Pizza, Mad Pizza, or Pagliacci but those places aren't cheap unless you have a good coupon. If I'm going for cheap I like Costco. I used to like Papa Murphys but my DH bought it so much I am sick of it. :vomit:

Interesting, I just got back from Fred Meyer and they simply would not take a manufacturer catalina coupon. I think it was $1 off an almond milk from Safeway. Talked to three people (I think one was a manager or assistant manager) and they were pretty firm about it. One of them even said it wasn't a recent change but always their policy.
And ironically enough, I was at QFC before I went to FM and thought on a whim to ask if they took mfc cats with other store logos on it...and sure enough they said yes. Iol, I have never before been able to use them at QFC.
Oh supermarkets...you so fickle.

Annie Mac and Cheese 2x $.49 (mega deal) - $.75/2 = $.12 ea

Coke 2L .75 (mega) - $1/3 TP = $.42 ea WYB 3

Is the $.75/2 Annie's from a TP? I bought some Annie's today and my whole order got messed up because one of the varities I picked up rang up $2.99 and was not part of the buy 10 deal... :( What a mess to fix.
I also included 4 Weight Watchers Smartones brkfst entrees. They are $1.49 when you buy 10 items and there are $2/4 qs in the SW freezer book...makes $.99 each. Not as good as the last time when they were $.50 each...but I needed them.

Yeah, a tearpad from Fred Meyer. I think I got it a week or 2 ago.
I know whatcha mean with the selection. It looked like someone ravaged 2 varieties in between all the types at the store I went to. So the $2.99 ones started caving in to fill the void and it was a bit of a mess on the shelves.
They did have bins at my store with just the ones on sale all mixed in.
Also FM had quite a few different TVs on clearance. It might have just been the 2010 on display "as-is" kind. I think one example was a Samsung 46" LCD (retail value/model $949) for $600. ymmv on them...also there's a $20 off $100+ electronics coupon in the ad.

At Bartell's until Sunday, March 20, king size candy bars are BOGO. Using the Hersheys Milk Chocolate Drops King Size or Reeses Minis King Size FREE up to $1.29 when you buy one Hersheys Milk Chocolate King Size Bar or Reeses Peanut Butter Cups King Size (3-30-11) SS-1/30 both could be free. Does anyone know if Bartell's will take BOGO coupons on a BOGO sale so that both would be free? If so, could you post your store location? I don't have a great deal of success when dealing with Seattle area Bartell's.

I found them at Albies. They are kind of small, not what I was expecting for 'king size' so I missed them the first time I looked for them. They come in a small bag, smaller than a regular bag of $.50 M&M's. They were $1.59, so more than what the coupon allows. HTH!

Has anyone picked up hot sauce at QFC? Did the coupon autodeduct?
I am not usually thrown by what cashiers do...today was the exception. I bought 7 Hot Sauces at QFC, 3 crackers, 4 Kashi cereals, and some bananas. I was expecting that the $.50 overage per hot sauce would pay for the difference in my q values in Kashi and crackers. All of a sudden I realized that instead of having $1.99 deducted per coupon value, I was getting $3.25 (max q value) deducted for each hot sauce. Immediately, I grabbed more crackers (at the end of the aisle nearby) but I was too slow...the cashier paid me $8.69 in overage!
Did my cashier make a mistake or was the hot sauce coupon autodeducting?
(Got to run. I've got more coupons to quickly clip, a shelf to clear, and a brand new favorite cashier to visit...)

Fred Meyer: Kids Reach toothbrushes were $1.89 (Batman only at Redmond store). Bought 4 and used 4 $1 ipq. $4 ONYO CAT printed perfectly. Hmmm, was the coupon really autodeducting? Or did the cashier just enter the price wrong? I want to use these at FM to get more points, since the coupon is only "free" not $3.25/1 there should not be overage and I wouldn't want the hassle of not knowing how much a coupon will deduct at.

I was under the impression that the free coupons were cashier dependent. They scan the coupon, register prompts for value:
1. cashier does the quick and easy and hits "enter" or some key and it takes off max value (or maybe non-club card price).
2. cashier slowly looks for the value and manually enters it in.
At least that's how I've observed Safeway to work. I don't think I've ever gotten max value overages at Fred Meyer or QFC though. (I got $1.99 for the hot sauce at QFC)

Here in Oly/Lacey I also got $1.99 deducted for each of the Frank's coupons. It did have to be manually input by the cashier, no auto-deduct.
I too was first planning to use these at Fred Meyer for points, but then realized they were part of the QFC mega and changed my mind. 50c overage per bottle is better than 2 points (that I would ultimately receive 2 cents in FM rewards for) in my opinion.

No, reward points are counted at FM if you use your FM card at QFC.
Update: I went back and the same QFC cashier subtracted $1.99 for the coupon value. (Guess she figured out her mistake while I was gone.) I paid the extra OOP cost with the $8.69 she'd paid me from the last transaction so came out just fine. I now own lots of free hot sauce and lots of free Triscuits and Wheat Thins! :woot:

Hey everyone...can I ask a big favor? I'm in charge of concessions for baseball this year. Gatorade is our biggest seller but we don't normally make much on it. The SW price this week is a great deal and I want to get as many rainchecks as I can for the blue and red Gatorade. Would any of you be willing to get rainchecks for me? I would really appreciate it!

I've been trying to hunt down the Reach toothbrushes coupon from V 10/10 for the RA deal. Does anyone still have those inserts around? All I have is the Red Plum with "Halloween Deals" on the cover and there are no Reach coupons in it - was there a second insert that week?

I don't think so... I don't have them from that insert, but there were also some from the 1/9 SS I believe.

Thanks. I did read the WAGS thread once and faintlly remember. Just free at RA.
Has anyone bought the Ritz Pretzel Round crackers at QFC? Just wondering if they were part of the Mega Deal. (Ritz are $1.99 WYB10.) While cutting more hot sauce qs this morning, I reread the ad for the Ritz Pretzel crackers saying that there is a $1/1 q on smartsource. If anyone is interested, this coupon is still there. (Again, with blessings from the Nabisco rep who told me that it was okay to use any Wheat Thin coupon on any variety of Wheat Thins, I would assume it is appropriate to use this one on any Ritz.)

Ok, I will use my coupons at Walgreens then. Didn't want to miss out on a RA deal. The coupons that I found in the 1/9 SS included Listerene, so you might have filed them under Listerene instead...

I could not find those coupons in the Seattle area either... Maybe it was out of our region. But it still might be free/cheap/MM with the 30% and $2 Walgreens coupon, and $5RR...

Hmm, I think this was the third time I went to Walgreens and each time it's a super hassle with coupons. I think it usually boils down to Portland going clipless so you can't use an mfq before sq...so it beeps on overage.
Spend a minute picking up floss ($.99), spend 15+ minutes in line trying to get them to take a $1 off coupon. I think I got it from Safeway, little leaflet with just a Reach floss coupon (too bad it wasn't toothbrushes as well).
The register kept saying "item not found", and it ended up being the whole $1 coupon vs $.99 on sale price. Took awhile to figure that out after going through the coupon's verbiage ad nauseam. Threw me off because I used $1 IPQs on the $.99 Reach toothbrushes and that went through fine -.-
Forgot to print another (2) toothbrush IPQs, so ended up getting 2 floss + 2 toothbrushes for free + $1 OYNO cat.

The problem with that Reach coupon from Safeway is that the UPC begins with 9, so it won't scan correctly at Walgreens.
If you have a correctly coded coupon (begins with 5), then it will sail through at test market Wags, even though you can't give the store coupon first (as you observed on the Reach TBs). - One of the (very few) advantages in the test market. The register compares the coupon to the original price before the card deduction!

Tried buying two Skinny Cow 6pks tonight. Reg price was $6.xx each (sale was $4), but I didn't get the $4 cat. :( You should be able to buy 3 though for $12 and use 3 x $1 of from SW freezer book and get $4 cat.
I bought 2 Skinny cow ice cream bars ($4 each) and 1 Dreyers popsicle ($3) and 1 Dreyers smoothy ($1.50). Used 2x $1 Skinny cow MQs and no cat printed. The AM read the ads and told me that the $12 should be AFTER MQs, so she did a return and I replaced the smoothy with another popsicle (so my total after MQs was $12) and I the $4 cat printed.
Is that true that we have to reach $12 after MQs?
I also tried the SCO with a penny trick, but it did not work either. :sadwalk:

Awesome post! I was so excited to try it, but it just didn't work for me. I bought 4 boxes and only got a $1 OYNSO Cat. We tried all different types with the same results. I figured, oh well, if I wait & double the $1 later, it's still a decent deal.

This is late notice but I just found this last night.
New seasons has their 20% hamburger that is regularly $2.99 on sale for $1.99. Today is the last day though. I like their burger b/c the cows are treated well and slaughtered humanely. They dont eat corn and soy their whole lives but they do get fattened up the last few months. They get to roam around for most of their lives instead of being stuck in a disgusting dirty stall or whatever. Anywhoo, the burger is very good and usually I like to get it fresh and not freeze it but at this price I will get another 10 lbs or so and freeze it for things like spaghetti, burritos or chili.
That was quite a ramble, lol.

I had a long talk with a woman who handles the bookkeeping at a QFC near me today. The store had two varieties of Kettle Chips on clearance for $.99; I used my $1/1 qs from last Sunday's inserts and bought them all.
The person who did bookkeeping for that QFC chatted with me afterwards and we discussed how each store's policies differ when this kind of situation happens with coupons. (The manager in this situation handled it by telling the cashier to raise the price of the chips to $1.00.) The bookkeeper told me that the reason QFC cannot give that penny per coupon back to the customer (like Walmart) is that their bottom line is hurt too badly - profit margins are slim and there is too big of a time discrepancy with cash flow when promos like Mega Deals happen. Since Mega Deals do not happen on a regular basis, the number of coupons turned in by customers varies dramatically each month and since coupons are mailed out for redemption only once a month, the store often waits a long time for reimbursement.

Kool-Aid on FB has an instant win game. If you don't win you get a $.50/5 q for unsweetened Kool-Aid envelopes. If doubled and matched with a sale at Albies someday, these should be free.

Got this bricks q link in my Albies email. It's good for $2/2 Listerine, Stayfree, Carefree, Zyrtec, Aveeno, Band-Aid, or Neosporin. Good timing for me because DS was almost out of character band aids. :) There's a Babies R Us q good today only for bandaids $2/4...will make them $1/box after both qs.

I rarely post but I just had to share, I went to Albertsons to use up some of the Ronzoni Garden Pasta coupons $1/1, they are all $1 so I just thought I would use them up before they expire on the 31st. I don't even like the garden pasta but my friend does and I happened to be there so I got them. Didn't pay anything for 23 pastas and then to my huge surprise I earned 2 $5 Rewards from the points. I have never gotten 2 at a time. I was so shocked I just had to figure out what happened. I went and checked the shelf and each pasta has a 300 point bonus each. For those that have the new point system at Albies, each 5000 points earns $5. I wasn't going to get much pasta, but now I am considering it, especially if there are TVC's. Any know yet? If we get them this weekend it will be free Healthy Harvest and Smart Taste pasta. If you need the pasta any ronzoni 10/$10 and there are tons of $1/2 and $1/1 coupons.

After you officially submit your recipe, it should immediately give you the option to load the eQ on the site with the recipe contest. You click the link and it takes you to whichever grocery site is linked to your email address that needs to be linked to both the pillsbury account and Kroger card account.
Once you get to the Kroger store site, it should just have the one $5 Pillsbury coupon with a button to load it. Click load to card (might have to sign in then) and it should show up immediately on your digi coupon list.

I have been to WM three times this week to use up my Gains qs and boy what an adventure. Walmart in Renton is an adventure in itself but using qs there is a whole other story. This was my first time in that WM in over a year and now I remember why.
The first trip I had to talk to two cashiers and two managers before using my coupons because none of them had even seen the new q policy.
I went back yesterday and today and both times I was denied by the cashier until I asked to see a manager and then the manager OKed it.
I had one cashier tell me it was a bogo q after looking at the picture on the coupon and seeing two products. I honestly don't think she knew how to read because when I pointed out it was for $3 off she was so confused.
The Gains q does say limit 4 per shopping trip so i have been using 4 at a time.
Is Millstone coffee in the regular coffee aisle. I looked for it yesterday and didn't see it so I'm wondering if that store doesn't carry it.

Walgreens
I thought I'd give Walgreens another shot and try the Snicker Easter Egg deal. I bought (4) x $.29 and used the $1.00/2...and it actually worked fine [$.16 for 4].
I thought my Walgreen's luck finally kicked in....but...then I tried using a coupon for a free toothbrush that I got from P&G directly via mail. Bless their souls, they do try to get it to work no matter how long it takes...and a long time it took. One cashier mentioned that recently their registers stopped accepting coupons altogether for a time and it was a nightmare then.
Fred Meyer
It's a bummer that the double/quad points didn't work on fuel points...just reward points. So I don't think it'll work at QFC since they only have fuel points.
I bought an Old Spice deodorant and the $1 eQ didn't come off. It was a new scent, but the same type as picture on the eQ. It seems your odds are not good on getting an eQ to come off on new varieties of items.
Also found the Millstone coffee little pre-packages for $1.67 at both FM and Safeway. The $2 q expires 3/31.

Seems to me, this time around the Kroger game has a lot lower chance to win compared to previous games. There's a ton of different prizes you can win (a lot more than previous games I think), but I guess they might have reduced the total number of prizes. I've heard others complain about the chance to win compared to previous games, as well.
I've noticed the chance to win seems to increase dramatically the last few days before these games end. I guess holding back and dumping the unclaimed prizes to get more people to come to the site throughout the game period. I'm hoping that's the case again.

I haven't won this yet either and I'm playing daily for both me and DH. Someone on our local mommy blog reported winning $500 and someone else $25. I'm jealous if that is true.

I think I must have just gotten lucky on the Kroger game. I won back-to-back 2 days in a row (1 Kraft ranch and 1 Dole fruit crisp) after only trying 4 times total, which I used on this last week's promo. It took off the full amount for each item before the extra $5 off, so extra score! We don't even have a Smith's close by, but I had won a $10 GC on a local facebook promo, plus the extra $5 off for submitting a recipe, plus i had my wins from the last promo (Charmin TP,Bounty paper towels, Haagen Dazs, Pantene, Chex Mix) so I made the trip and got all the free stuff, found the shelf stocked with Ronzoni, and used the rest on other buy 10, save $5 items. It was definitely my favorite Kroger/Smith's shopping day ever. Of course, my Fresh Values card was the old, old, old one so I had to upgrade first since it wouldn't even scan at the register. LOL
No luck at all on the Albertsons IWG game, though.

Hi all I found a coupon today that makes for free cheese today only at FM :woot:.
Facebook tillamook coupon for $1 off monteray jack
http://www.facebook.com/#!/TillamookCheese?sk=app_197717530262423
FM has tillamook 8oz shredded for $1 limit 10 with coupon.
One of the mexican style shredded cheese has monterey jack
I verified (asking the manager) that this coupon can be used for that mexican cheese with no problem.
Coupon scans great with no problems :)
HTH
P.S. it is a huge coupon, takes up almost the whole page to print.
FM will take a MQ on top of their coupons? i thought their coupon policy was to allow only one? i confused. thanks for anyone who provides an answer! and happy monday!

i just checked their coupon policy and its been updated this month! it says some of their coupons are FM q's and others are MQ and only one MQ will be accepted! yay, good to know!
(or was i totally spacey and this has always been the policy? i swear it used to be only one q per item)

There are a lot of coupons expiring 3/31. Besides the Gain and Millstone ($3/1 and $2 from RP 2/13)
are there any other high value ones that need attending to?
Remember you might still have this one: Quaker Oatmeal Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Quick or Old Fashioned Oats $1 (4/30/11) V 1/2/201.(No deals right now but I am posting because I had forgotten about it.)
FM has millstone singles (free after coupon) and also regular size coffee on sale for $5.99 - $2q = $3.99 (my stock up price )

I just wanted to say in defense of Walmart, that I've been extremely impressed with the cashiers and managers I've worked with in the past couple days. None of the three different managers at 2 different Walmart stores (Everett and Lynnwood) knew yet of the new coupon policy in which money could be returned to the customer when the coupon value exceeded the cost of the item purchased. All managers researched the coupon policy at what had been printed out for them at their store (choosing not to read the policy via my phone) and all three were gracious and helpful and gave me my money without incident. I was told by all managers that there are meetings scheduled this week to review with management and cashiers the changes in WM coupon policies.
BTW: All managers read the Gain coupon carefully and noted that there was a four item limit per transaction and discussed that with me. Not one of them cared; at one store I bought forty boxes in one transaction with the manager's blessing.

Just for the record: Coupon NW posted that she gave up on finding the Gain at WM. I had been in both stores-minus coupons-just hours previous to her post and the stores were fully stocked (as they had been all week last week). Alarmed, I returned to WM in the morning (again without qs...Shuri had mine and I needed to go pick them up from him) but, in spite of her post, the shelves were still fully stocked.
Note: The sheets are located in the dryer section, not with the laundry detergent. At both stores the prices for the small packs of Gain were put in the same section as the larger packs of Gain and were priced incorrectly on the shelf. Perhaps that was part of the confusion.

These cereals are the only overlaps between the deals (unless there are more cereals on sale then we know about, which sometimes happens with albies)
Kellogg’s Corn Flakes® cereal
Kellogg’s Corn Flakes® Touch of Honey cereal (if part of the sale)
Kellogg’s Crispix® cereal
Kellogg’s Rice Krispies® cereal
ETA: OOOOOoooooo! I just noticed the limit 5 thing. Very, very nice.
Also, the form says you must be 18 or older, so you don't have to pretend you are 50+.
ETA (again) the rebate does not require receipts, so check the stockpile. I already have 60% of my first rebate done. To bad I just gave away many, many boxes of corn flakes from the last time we got them free, because they were about ready to expire.

Ironically, the point you can make is about people freaking out when you suggest a deal with a coupon that works with an item variety that isn't specifically listed on the coupon.
It's like some people have no faith that a company can't correctly code a coupon that's going to be sent out in millions of newspapers. Doesn't make for a very pretty or readable coupon when you explicitly list out all the items it's suppose to work with.

Was at my Wags today, and went to get the Snickers eggs, and there were none on the shelf. There were very few Russell Stover Eggs as well. When I asked the associate if they'd be getting more in on Thursday (when the truck arrives) her comment was that they wouldn't be getting any more in AT ALL! I find that hard to believe, since Easter is almost a full month away. They have had these on sale for .29cents twice already, and this store is out, and they're not getting more in. Seriously?? Ugh.

Where can I find that one?
Little white peelie on Cocoa Krispies and Rice Krispies boxes. I've seen them at SW and Albies and heard rumors of Walmart, so they are pretty well spread. One of my stores had the displays up for the sale yesterday and the boxes were covered with them.
dumb question here... does anybody know for the $10 Kelloggs gas card if you can get Cocoa Krispies for the Rice Krispies cereal? Or does it need to be specifically what is listed on the form?
Thanks

I don't know for sure. But my guess would be no, since everything seems to be so specific on the form. For example, Raisin Bran, Raisin Bran Crunch and Raisin Bran Extra! Crunch are all listed separately.

The milk cats all have the same expiration date, even if you get 3 in a single transaction, they were about 2 weeks out.
And yes, I know the deal will be better with doublers, but I needed milk today.

I think the question was more in terms of if or if not it would be considered a valid purchase for the rebate---not if or if not there was a coupon that would work...unless I'm reading the wrong thing into it ****cold meds make me woozy****

It is likely not an issue, usually those warnings are because the milk can lessen the absorbsion of the medicine, but that is talking about a stomach full of milk, not a little in an inhaler. If it would kill you to have a small amount of milk protein they would tell you to avoid milk altogether rather than waiting 2 hours. However, I am not a doctor, have no medical training, and am probably wrong, so you probably shouldn't listen to me.
Since I assume your pharmacy and doctor's office is closed, the only way to get expert advice that I can think of is to call poison control, tell them you accidentally took both, and ask if you need medical attention.
Feel better soon.

Thanks :) I think it'll be fine. I've just had this "cold" for almost 5 mths, and for the past 3 weeks its been so bad...well, lets just say the dr thinks it may be bacterial related rather than the traditional viral cold, since its only me who's sick, not anyone else in the household etc. New type of antibiotic that i've never had before.
I'm fine, I'm sure. :D My other half won a trip to mexico from work, so I got the week to myself, so it'll be nice and quiet and relaxing here, lol. Plus I get to coupon as much as I want---hit two targets, two freddies and the bellingham albies yesterday. I did NOT realize that the mt vernon albertsons was closed :( I only ended up getting 15 garden delight ronzonis, cos I was just tooo burnt out to drive further south. Oh well, better than nothing, right?
Any great sales I HAVE to get in on this week? I'm gonna go out on Friday, but that will be my only day to coupon. PM me, I dont want to clutter up the thread :shake:

The coupons are good on your next transaction, that is the deal we were able to work out with Kelloggs. The discount received on the milk is the actuall price of the milk up to $3.99. That would include chocolate milk, soy milk, rice milk, etc. Thank you! Scott

Read some blogs that made it sound like you have to get certain boxes of Kelloggs for the milk CAT...but looking at the online ad it says, "Milk offer available on ALL Kellogg's cereal 8.7oz or larger."
Here's what's on the printable thread:
Kellogg's Frosted Flakes with Fiber, less Sugar $1/1 PRINT [couponnetwork.com]
Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats w/Fruit, $1/1, Print [coupons.com]
Kellogg's FiberPlus Cereal $1/1 - Print
Pretty good if you just want some cheap cereal, milk and possibly m&ms when doublers arrive (and not have to deal with a rebate).
Edit: Oh but these types of cereal might not be on sale for $1.67 (except maybe the Frosted Flakes), anyone know how much?

My daughter sent hers in the very first day that I found those rebate forms and received hers within two weeks. I have not received any of mine.
Something funny: I always send one set of MIRs to my DH's work address. Last week he was called to the corporate business office and specifically shown their new mail sorter technology. All checks are automatically separated from all other mail and submitted for reimbursement without human intervention. A check I'd sent him from P and G got caught up in that...he was told to never have personal checks sent to his work again, lol.
The end of TVQ's:omg: Albertsons better lower their prices then, cause otherwise I don't shop there much.

About 2 weeks ago and they both came on the same week. The rebate I sent in first has not came yet so I guess there is no order to how they are sent out.

I won't shop there either unless they is a big incentive like TVQs. When they stopped taking competitors qs I quit shopping there and didn't start again until the TVQs promo started. Hopefully they will have something just as good to replace the TVQs or they are going to lose a lot of business.
