Sorry I missed that part. If its new it has come package that way. When an item says refurb it still looks brand new. I recently purchased the Jabracruiser stereo bluetooth from them and it looks great but came in bulk packaging as stated in the description. So if it says retail, that's how it should come.
I guess I am trying to ease your mind not to worry about shopping from this site

1saleaday is a legit site but I once had a bad experience with one of their free after shipping items. It was a charging valet/stand which literally fell apart as I pulled it from the box. I was able to reassemble it to "better then new" condition but it was annoying. I expect this item will be fine as it is not free and comes in retail packing.

Looking at it closely for the serial number.. The headset serial number is completely different from the box serial number. I'm guessing they just repackaged the item.. I feel like I've been ripped off :(

That's odd! I got mine in the mail today too. It was sealed in a retail Verizon wireless box. When I opened it, the SN matched the box exactly. Haven't tried it yet, but the SNs match up. Are you looking in the right place for the SN?

The box has it's own S/N and the headset itself, under the earpiece has a different S/N... I don't know how I can get through Jawbone's replacement.. Since I didn't purchase from an authorized retailer. :/

My Icon arrived in a sealed Verizon box with matching serial numbers. Please verify yours. The serial number is under the earbud, printed inside the lip (groove) which holds the rubber earbud in place.

My was in a Verizon box also. It was sealed. I looked over again and again at the serial and it was not a match at all. I already sent it back to 1saleaday for an exchange or refund depending on what options are there. I must be unlucky to get one with unmatching serial number and a broken headset.

I sure will. I don't think I will ever buy from them again. I heard from people that some jawbone icon might be fake, refurbished, etc. Since it's from New York. But I don't know. This is my first time buying from 1saleaday and might be my last

Yup. Had to pay $3.20 on my own to ship it back. So I lost year amount of money for a defective headset with an incorrect serial number. Guess I should have just pay $40 on amazon

Jawbone only covers from authorized retailers.. such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. I don't even know if they cover Amazon though. When I shipped it back.. I just wrapped it in their plastic bag they sent it to me and added one white envelope. :lmao:
