What is rss? I googled it and it came up with all sorts of news feed stuff

RSS = rich site summary. RSS readers allow you to track multiple websites (and their updates). An RSS feed for slickdeals.net will contain the latest deals posted on the main page. You can use RSS readers to aggregate RSS feeds from various site to keep updated on their content.

I keep track of slick deals by going to it about every 15 minutes... i don't call that rss. i'm soo lost
