Can the Mods start a new category for all of the posts that have been showing up that require a PM on top of multiple rebates with added coupons and (most of the time) a completely ignorant store manager? Almost all are listed as "big YMMV" which essentially means that you're only going to get them if you're obnoxious enough with the manager that they give in just to get you out of the store.
The forums have been polluted with these posts even after many posters have been told that most stores won't honor the piling on tactics. CC, OD, OM, BB, Staples and most others have caught on and disallow these practices. I don't mind it if folks want to give it a try, but there's so many of these posts anymore, especially from newbs, that reading through the forums to find a REALLY slick deal is getting to be a hassle. Just MHO, but if the posting of this crap continues to escalate at the rate it has, SD will become a huge waste of time. BRING BACK THE REAL DEALS!! :(
