I recently bought a i5 2500K and ASRock extreme4 Z68 motherboard at Microcenter for a pretty good deal and was trying to piece together the rest of the system and wanted some opinions if I'm headed in the right direction.
HD: 1TB WD Caviar Black
PSU: Corsair HX520 watts modular supply from my last build.
Ram: Corsair Vengenace 1.5v DDR3 1600 8gb
GPU: 560ti
Case: Cooler Master Cosmos
OS: Win 7
Soundcard: Razer Barracuda from previous build
Anything I'm missing or should tweak? I game at 1920x1200 and play mainly FPS and will probably get on that Star Wars MMO. Also, will probably be playing the Dragon Age of Orgin series on here as well. Budget isn't really an issue as much as bang for the buck. Would I really see any real world difference going with a Nvidia 570 over 560ti? Also, the Razer Barracuda.....have there been any advancements on the soundcard front or should I stick with it?
Thanks!

How much is the GTX560? There is (or was, at least) a deal for the 6870 for $155.
Also, the Caviar Black drives are way overpriced. The Samsung F3s outperform them and are considerably cheaper.
Additionally...you may want to consider a new PSU. A 520W Corsair is probably sufficient, but better safe than sorry.

6970 for 150!?!?!??! WHERE?! 6970 > 560 ti for that cheap of price thats a killer deal.
570 is an improvement over 560, especially in games where you can't max out settings (ex. crysis 2 ultra dx11, witcher 2, DAO is about 40 fps)

The PSU you have is probably fine if it is in good shape. If you have issues -- double check the basics to make sure you have standoffs in all places a screw goes through the board to attach it to the case. Make sure you have the I/O shield snapped in tight in the case.
If you have issues, I would personnally suspect the Asrock board before I would the Corsair PSU. Asrock is NOT on my list of recommended boards.

Sorry guys...long day at work and I was kinda delusional from keeping up with the 2500 pages of TouchPad threads.

Like what prozac said, just get a spinpoint and it will do the job for cheaper price.
By the way, never get the ti version... it is a lowered version of the normal one.
Don't forget to install 64 bit windows since you are using more than 4GB of RAM.
I have the 570 but i don't think you need it for the games you are playing. I bought mine for Crysis 2 on max settings.

Thanks! I'm not an Ati fan, but with those prices and the sell of those games I could be looking at an 6870 for around $100-120....not too shabby! Also, that Samsung drive looks like a winner, thanks for the heads up.

The ti version of the 560 is the better card:confused:
Tracking on the 64bit....also I have Crysis 2 and I want the eye candy, but I don't know how much a difference there is between the 6870, 560ti, and the 570. If it's not much at 1920x1200 then I'll go for the cheaper option, but if the 570 will deliver more visual jazz then I don't mind dropping the coinage.

The 570 will run an average of 35.82 in crysis 2 max settings at 1920 x 1200
560 ti will run at 39 fps average HOWEVER, with reduced shader settings.
Use this (http://www.geforce.com/Hardware/GPUs/geforce-gtx-560ti/performance/Crysis-2-GeForce-GTX-560-Ti-OPS)
Also check out benchmark between cards and hwcompare I guess.
6870 < 560 ti < 570
