If you mean the expand button that you can see the 1st post, then it's there for me when I'm searching also.

I edited the title (to make it more clear what the thread is about, rather than having it "Preview feature on search results") if that's what you mean, but did not change any contents of the post....
In any case, in response to your question - the "show as posts" feature already shows you a brief preview with the title (if any) or the post, so I am not sure a full preview would be as useful as it is when all you see is thread titles without any contents period :). It's something to consider for future revisions, however, if there is enough support from other users for this feature.
