I saw this listed in Best Buy's print ad yesterday (back page) and was just getting ready to drive over and buy it when I stopped to check reviews online:

LG 50PT350 50" Plasma 1080p 600HZ HDTV
SKU: 2355277
$549.99

That is when I noticed that it was 720P not 1080P which obviously killed the deal for me. It kinda pissed me off because they seem to do this crap a lot and I wonder sometimes if they do it on purpose to bring people into the store and then say oops our bad, tough crap, it was a misprint, wanna buy this instead?

Any way to work this into a Slick Deal maybe by getting an equivalent TV for that amount or some kind of discount? I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened.

Ad listing, page 3 on online ad, back page on print ad:

Website listing showing it correctly as 720p:

Honestly, unless something else is on sale that you want, I doubt it. I mean if something else was on sale you could go in, complain about the TV to manager get maybe 10-20% off another item if you explain, "I wanted this, but now I'm going to have to buy that due to your misprint. Which is going to cost me more, or isn't going to be as good."

You have to make it look like you're inconvenienced by it, but you're still wanting to spend money with them.
