Good deal if you need/want a pair of these glasses right now, as it doesn't look like these reach lower price points all that often.

As OP noted, lowest without any in cart discounts/gimmicks.
A quick search shows they were down to $105 (with an in cart discount) for a short period back in July 11
And a deal I got in Dec 10 had them down to $99.95 (with an in cart discount).
All were for black on black, polarized Flak Jackets.

So, not TCing by any stretch as I may even bite for a 2nd pair... but good/warm deal if you need a pair now. Otherwise, you end up going my route and simply hold out until another ~$100 or sub $100 deal comes along again :pray:

Good price, GREAT glasses, ordered a pair for my wife to give me at Christmas. I bought the 5 squared's last week for $55 but they weren't polarized and they just don't quite fit my face. Amazon is great about returns for glasses. You can even get your refund as soon as the carrier scans the return package in their system!

Polarized Oakleys are definitely worth this much, and more. The flak jackets are a nice timeless look too. If I still have these 10 years from now they won't look ridiculous.

You do know a mirrored lens doesn't make them polarized, polarization is a clear filter that is inserted in the middle of the lens.

The reason they are mirrored is due to the iridium coating, not polarization. EBAN44 is right.

Yeah I wasn't saying that was wrong, you are correct there, but then you went to say they "look" polarized, that is what is incorrect.

Does anyone know when ordering if you can select a particluar lense?? if you look at the silver pair the lenses are slightly different ( a little tear drop on the bottom) and I like them better. just wondering. I will most likely pick up the pair regardless.

Yeah,those are the XLJ's. I have a pair I wear when I run and love them. A lot of people don't like the xlj lenses, but you can swap them out with the regular lenses in seconds.

It doesn't make the lens that much darker, only about 1-3% difference. It is a clear filter but you are still adding an additional layer which will block some light. Nothing is 100% clear, so there will be some light blocking.
