Looks like $1.95 fee whether it's plastic or an e-gift card, a little lame. Post on facebook and it's $21.95 minus $11 for a $20 gift card for $10.95. Might not be worth the hassle if you haven't used the website, but since my wife and I have accounts and are familiar with it, I'll go for it. Looks like they've started trying to get people interested again before holiday shopping since this is the 3rd decent mega OO on mastercard marketplace.

Friendgiftr's backend icardgiftcard is a pain to deal with. They are pretty trigger happy on cancelling orders.

I'm a little confused by OP's post in that buying anything BUT starbucks when that's what the website says -- is it that you think Starbucks will sell out instantly so you need to pick out another card?

I know I could never get that Amazon card and had to get a Starbucks on giftcardmall from OO due to some type of glitch in their site. So you're anticipating something like that?

I am not terribly impressed by the options here. I did the Drugstore.com and BN cards but I don't know if I'll do this one.

If you check detail of offer on mastercardmarketplace it states "Offer Applies To: Online Items In-Stock (Includes Gift Cards) at Friendgiftr“, so the offer applies to all the thing sold at Friendgiftr not necessarily Starbucks GC. No anticipation, this is always allowed by Mastercard OO.

also don't get the starbucks part. back to oooooold days when starbucks GC was provided and offered directly by starbucks itself the orders were never confirmed and caused some problem. However, I see no reason why we can't order starbucks GC from 3rd party GC vendor.

edit: I see. OP should say "including, not limited to" not "other than" starbucks.

So this works on eGift Cards too?

just FYI, the site works like this:

You make a purchase and "your friend" will receive an email with a code which can be redeemed at icardgiftcard.com. It doesn't matter whats your selection at the time of purchase. So even if you bought an eGC it can still be redeemed for a plastic GC and maybe thats why they charge the fee regardless.

They have Staples.

I want to rep OP, but the system says "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to swordheart again." This really needs to be fixed!

Hope this works as well as the Home Depot deal (also posted by swordheart). So why can't I rep swordheart again?

It has not been mentioned yet. This merchant uses iCard to fulfill orders. Last time iCard was offered through Corporate Perks, all orders sent to oneself were canceled by iCard due to "fraud". I personally won an ofer recently at Friendgiftr and sent a gift card to another email address, in my husband's name, just in case. I am still waiting to see how it goes.

Thanks! I personally prefer to buy sears gift card since I can use it to buy other retailer's gift card at kmart. Staples rarely allows this and staples gift card can only be used in store.

Yes, they were significantly easier to get, and more generous last year between Black Friday and Christmas. Plus, a lot of them offered giftcards (such as Home depot and Lowes). The program has gone through many significant changes in the past year.

I am curious if they will bring back the 1000+ available deals this year.

The corporate OO site is structured very differently from the mastercard OO site now, which is also odd.

don't forget, if you "like" or tweet the deal after you get it, you get an extra 1$ (100 points) credit back after completing the deal

so you pay 10 for a 20$ gift card, add 2$ for delivery fee, subtract 1$ for the share/like bonus, and you get a 20$ gift card for 11$. not too shabby if you need/want/use one of the available merchants.
