View Full Version : Hot Topics at Upper Right on Homepage

Just a suggestion, but can you switch the slickdeals welcome with the hot topics on the homepage?

I liked having the hot topics right beside the day's slickdeals as it was on the old slickdeals. Currently one has to scroll down to see the hot topics. Not a big deal but it would make the site a little more efficient for quick perusal.

You can remove the welcome text by clicking on the "Click to hide this welcome message." The search and user central can be collapsed by clicking on the button on each box.

I know but it doesn't stay that way. It's would just be nice to have it there automatically.

that would be a cookie issue. delete your cookies and try again. (or at least go through and delete any slickdeals ones.)

To "quickly peruse" ? Isn't that an oxymoron? ;) BTW, do what boss said, that's what I did. :)

Using the new firefox 3, despite the Click to hide this welcome message, the welcome message is not going away. Anyone else facing this issue?

As arjunsr mentioned above, delete any SD related cookies and try again. Afaik, it works fine in FF3.
