Question about returning an item and buying a better one on black friday

I got a $300 HDTV September 19th at Walmart , I have 90 days to return it. Would I be making a smart move by returning it a few days before black friday and using the money to buy a better TV , at the same or less price on black frida?

Any suggestions ?

to return it after you buy a new ,better one on BF,in case you happen to be the one standing in line when they run out,or the one whose online order gets canceled.
