Had some zune in ears before and didn't like them too much because it didn't come with interchangeable buds.. Couldn't get the skull candy from TRU a few days ago for $2.50 each but hope these are as nice and good. I would never buy Skull Candy or anything like this but i need something to keep in my backpack so i don't have to bring headphones with me everywhere when i need it.

I answered my own question, i was able to get on this deal in store at my local bestbuy. They had them on display marked down to .99 already. :D

I just picked up 3 pink pair from my local BB. The worker in the store really worked hard to find them in the store for us and said they were the last ones in stock. Found a lot of white ones but they weren't marked down from $9.99.

My local BB is horrible. I placed the order an hour before the store open. I got the pick-up notice around 10am. I went there at 10:45am to pick up. They handed me 3 small boxes with the pick-up slip wrapped around it tightly that I cannot see what's inside but the top and bottom of the boxes. I unwrapped them when I got to my car. They are not the color nor the model I ordered. I went home to check on the computer and confirmed they gave me the wrong ones. I thought that may be a careless mistake. So I went back to store to exchange. First someone looks more senior said will get the right one from the shelf for me. I wait and wait. Finally 15min later, another guy in plain clothes showed up with a bag of 10 or so earbuds and the guy from the service counter took out 3 from that bag and exchange for me. Obviously, the guys at my local BB store intentionally swapped my order so that they can get them at the low price. I am going to send a note to the corporate about this.

A buddy of mine used to work there, and he says that when you return something without a receipt, they give you store credit for the cheapest in-store price of the product in the past month. If they weren't marked down in store, wouldn't you just get the in-store price of 9 bucks?

Local best buy had over 100 on display. They were marked $7.99 and blue shirt guy confirmed that was the price. Had a blue shirt girl check price for me at a register and they were $0.99. Picked up 8 of them in several color (pink, red, blue and gray). As cheap as these things are, i expect them to be dead with 3 months. Got enough to last at least 2 years.

Just picked up three sets in store. They had a bunch in the store and they were marked as 99 cents on the rack. It took me awhile to find them, Best Buy had headphones in like 4 different places so be sure to look everywhere. If you go to store and they ring up as $9.99 they are not the right ones... there are ones that look nearly identical to these but they are NOT them. You can tell if they're the 99 cent ones because they have a flat metal back, the $9.99 ones have a round back. See this image here for clarification:

Now onto the quality, they sound TERRIBLE.. like a pair of 99 cent headphones or worse. I use my Klipsch S4's and figured these can't be too bad as some extra throwaways, but they even sound bad compared to my Zune OEM earbuds. I was going to send a couple pairs to my little brother but honestly, I think i'll spend a couple dollars more for something that actually sounds okay. These are horrible and I will never use them.

I ordered 1 of each.. forgot to pick them up lol. they refunded 2/3 and sent me 1 via mail.. No clue why they couldnt have thrown the other 2 in there as well. .duh. But my son likes them & says they have great sound.. (he is also comparing them to dollar store type headphones so who knows)

Wow.. I just compared these to my cheap $11 Sennheiser CX200's and $10 Sony MDRE9's and they truly are horrible. :) Sounds like listening to something really muffled. I guess you get what you pay for. :)
