My firewall, Trend Micro, always pops up a warning when going to slickdeals.net. It never used to, but it says the address is:

http://www.tqlkg.com/image-1703733-10441992

And is lists the sites credibility as Dangerous, and the category as Spyware. And suggests to close the browser and not to reopne the site. I am sure that slickdeals would not knowingly try to install spyware or anything, but is it possible an advertiser to something is not legit? Or is my firewall just being too careful?

It's an ad banner on the front page. I don't know why your firewall would complain about an image.

I figured it was most likely nothing. But even when you click on your link it brings you to a different website.

The link is to this:
http://www.tqlkg.com/image-1703733-10441992

But you end up here:

I just wonder if Trend Micro has the advertisers website on there list for some reason.

You should be able to permanently ignore this warning. I doubt there's any problem, but as long as you don't click on that ad repeatedly, you'll definitely be fine.
