Hey Mods, any chance we can get a mention of the F@H (Folding at Home) Slickdeals team on the front page or a sticky in the forums to get some more involvement. We've got more people joining but we could get a lot more.
Let me know if you need any info on this.
Thanks,
Jeremiah

Folding is basically just a program that runs on your computer using your idle processor to "fold" proteins to try to find causes/cures for diseases like cancer and alzheimers.
Here is the Folding @ Home home page:
http://folding.stanford.edu/
Here's the Slickdeals team page:
http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=49191
It's a great cause and all it does is use the CPU power you aren't using. It doesn't slow your PC down at all, I play games like Battlefield 2 with it running and it doesn't slow my game down at all, and I have a 4 year old PC.
Let me know if you want any more info and I'll either answer it or direct you to where the answer is.
Thanks.

good idea , or maybe a subforum under tech support for all the "folders" to talk about DC and help new members to get started
