Following the steps in the first post gives you 50 points. It's a lot easier to obtain a magazine subscription at Ecobonus/MagazineGoldCard than at swagbucks, recyclebank or mycoke rewards!

Not sure why it's not working. All i did was google "chinook ecobonus" and click on images. The 4th image on the right was the chinook code, and it worked for me. :confused:

Either way, as you said, without this chinook code you are already able to get a subscription to a magazine.

No...once you have enough pts (42 for a mag sub)...you use the pts on the EcoBonus site to purchase the magazine subscription. After that, you get an email with the pin etc

When you go to the EcoBonus site, and sign in...you'll see the welcome screen that tells you how many pts you have. If you have 50 pts, click on "Browse Rewards Catalog".

On the rewards page, you can type in the word "magazine" in the search field and it will bring up the magazine subscription for 42 pts.

When you click on that, it EXPLAINS everything. You 'purchase' the magazine subscription...go thru the checkout process and you are emailed the reward (code to use on the magazine site to get your magazine).

The code goes to the email address that you put in during the checkout process at EcoBonus.

With the 8 points left over from the OP's first post and the 25 points from the Chinook code which gets us up to 33 points, if someone could share codes equaling 9 more points, yes, we could order another mag since there doesn't seem to be a restriction on how many GCs can be purchased if one has enough points .

It will typically extend it. To increase the odds of that happening, type in your name and address exactly the same as it is on your current mailing label. If you don't know, you can check your account at the specific magazine website.

If by some chance, you do end up with duplicates...a quick call to the specific magazines customer service easily solves the problem.

Sorry that you think so. I feel it is not any different than people posting the deals on here. All I was doing was trying to help my mom and two sisters get a free mag sub to their house. I signed up Yesterday and my points got approved today . I picked the magazine gold card and checked out and just got an email with a link to redeem my magazine subscription . You click on the email link and it brings you to a webpage with a pin number on it then it gives you another link to go to the magazine section . you put the pin in pick your magazine and put your address in and your good to go . It says i should Expect my 1st issue in 4-6 weeks

Just spoke to Ray, very nice guy. He walked me through it. Go to browse cataglog, then Do a search for magazines. YOu'll see a small gold box come up with many magzines listed. Underneath, it says something like pick a magazine.

Now I did all that, completed the process. got the message, "an email has been sent". Got the emal, but no PIN or code listed. I still can't order my mag. I emailed Ray again.

You have buy eco-friendly products listed on Ecobonus's website and enter the code on the package(s). Or wait until they give out a new code.

I should have ordered this quicker. I was on the fence about ordering cash or the magazines. I had noticed that some of these magazines only have 6 month subscriptions. You can subscribe on your own for some of these titles for less than 5.00, and get a whole year if your order elsewhere.

I have 100 points per all known points listed, but we need 104 points to get two magazines. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Sorry for any confusion.

I redeemed the first one when it was 42 points.

I redeemed the second one yesterday for 52 points.

and I have 6 points left in my balance.

Anyone else getting the "Sorry, that sign-in information was not recognized by the system. Please try again." A friend of mine has only one login and is getting this also on his account. I have it on all of my accounts, I just thought it was because i used my 3 email addresses for 3 accounts...but not sure.

I was also seemingly locked out of my three accounts.

Re-register each of your accounts using the account information you originally entered.

Your previously existing points from the original accounts should show up immediately after you re-register them. It worked for me.

Contact Magazine Gold Card customer service. They're the ones that issue the code.

M4F4-R5W5-4H5T is only worth 1 point now. Putting the point total at 36. Still need 16 points for a free mag since they raised the price to 52 points (instead of 42).

Chinook Book coupons are available in the Ecobonus rewards catalog for 8 points. None of the bonus codes work anymore, but you can still earn 10 points for updating your profile after joining. That will score you at least one coupon.
