Hey guys I'm a long time lurker first time poster. Stumbled upon this deal at Babies R Us/ Toys R Us

Similac Sensitive Ready to Feed Formula - 8 oz - 6-Pack Normally 10.99 marked down to 5.00

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4408372

I suspect this is a price mistake because they have some of the 2 oz- 8 packs marked down to $5.00 as well.

I can confirm this price is working at the B&M stores, I have attached a receipt. Please note these rang up at 5.00 only 3 at a time. When scanning 4th 5th and so on items price reverts back to $10.99

For anyone who has the 2/1 coupons from RP in October IIRC, this could end up being really slick.

The way I'm reading it is sale is meant to apply to 2-3oz nursettes per the advertisement. These are the 8 oz bottles.

I hope your right and this price is correct because at 10.4 cents per oz this is an excellent deal. Way cheaper than what I usually pay for powder similac sensitive and my girlfriend says these are way more convenient for her.

I picked up 6 of the Similac Sensitive 8oz R2F 6 packs & 4 Enfamil R2F 8 packs for a total of $4.00 after coupons/vendor checks. I had 6 of the $5 off Similac Vendor Checks & 4 of the Enfamil $4 vendor checks.

I verfied that both the Similac & Enfamil were onsale for $5 using the instore price checkers. The enfamils rang up for $8.49 but they honored the price since their scanners were showing $5.00.

Confirmed $5 each. I think this might be the best per oz i've seen yet. Surprised it's not getting more attention?

Good to know and consider, best thing is to breastfeed! Many cannot for any number of reasons.

Also the mother's breast-milk should contain most of the above ingredients (through the mother's diet/vitamins) or the baby is not getting the nutrients it needs anyways

its science....can't explain that....

Just got back. Max 2 $5 checks per transaction at my BRU. Had multiple and they just did multiple orders. Only the lactose-free 8oz*6 rang up at $5. Otherwise, regular 2oz*8 is $5.

They also had a single Similac bottle for $2.49. Technically you could use the left over credit to buy other things, at least.

I meant to say in case something happened to me and I was unable to breastfeed ( like I got in a car accident) my husband would have something to give our baby until he could get to a store.

Wow, I had no idea. I had to go look at the formula we are using (regular Similac Advance and Kroger brand equivalent) but I don't see corn syrup or sugar in any of the top ingredients. We have to supplement with formula since we have twins. I was interested in this deal until I saw that ingredient list, yikes!

Most formulas have corn syrup as source of carbohydrate calories. I can't imagine what else they'd use. Maybe that's part of the reason formula-fed babies are more likely to be overweight later in life.

I also had 6 $2 off coupons, making each one $3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Just an FYI, there's no real "free shipping" with this deal.

You have to purchase 20 packs to get to the "spend $100 get free shipping" and they limit the max shipping discount to $20. Shipping on 20 packs was $130 for us.

Really good deal. I ended up getting 10 cases with in-store pickup. We tried getting the last case they had in the store but it rang up the regular price of $10.99 (as mentioned above). We basically cleared the store out though. LOL

I considered getting a free trial with shoprunner to get free shipping but wasn't sure if it was worth the hassle.

went in with my 8 similac checks, got 8 cases basically for free :) My local BRU has a max limit of 2 checks per transaction, so cashier had to do 4 separate trans...she was a bit cranky about it though.

The lady at my TRU just did an overwrite and took the checks.

The best part of this deal was just before leaving to the store I see my mail man coming up my stairs and hands me another set of Similac $5 checks :woot: . I ended getting 4 for free
