When I google, I get back websites like cashforlaptops.com, getcashforlaptop.com, cashinyourlaptop.com etc. however I am unable to find these companies reviews, so am turning to you all to please share your experiences and help me in deciding which website to sell the laptops?

Craigslist if you live in an area where getting shot/robbed/mugged/raped is likely or eBay if you don't.

Hi,
I have a Dell Studio XPS 1340 - this one needs the AC wire to be onnected all the time to work and I have a Lenovo G450 with Linux installed on them. Gazelle shows the least amount when compared to other two websites. Pls let me know your offer too.

I am in the same boat; I have three for sale which just happen to be "in my lap" at the moment.... all perfectly working and some I've even rehabbed a bit (new battery, etc). CL has only brought scammers; ebay will be rather expensive.

gazelle estimated a thinkpad X61s with fair wear for $23, X200 with fair wear for $68. I hope that's the fee they charge the seller to sell the laptop not the item's worth lol. (it seems those are really the item's value - I don't friggin believe it.)
Neither Craigslist or ebay are perfect. They are just barely viable choices. That's why I kept broke my own promise to stop buying stuff if I can't sell them first.

gazelle and the such are trade-in sites, not selling sites. I am sure they turn around and sell them. Those sites are for the lazy who don't wanna bother to sell and just get rid of things and make a few bucks in the process.
