sorry if i'm misunderstanding your question, but do you mean how to you put a link in your signature?

you can click on "user cp (http://forums.slickdeals.net/usercp.php)" (upper left), then click on "edit signature (http://forums.slickdeals.net/profile.php?do=editsignature)". Then, type the word or words that you want to make into a link, select the word(s) w/ your mouse, then click on the "Insert Link" button (looks like this: http://i.slickdeals.net/images/editor/createlink.gif.) A dialogue box will appear. Enter the URL, then click "OK".

Alternatively, you can type it out by hand, for example
your text goes here (http://www.mygroovywebsite.com)

You may need to have 50+ posts (or be a member 1 month or more) before you can create a signature. I'm not sure.
