Weird, shops2much, did you see all the coding in your post? There's all kinds of colors and left alignment and size commands,etc. We have to strip all that out for the wiki (because of all the characters that takes up) so that's why I noticed it. Not criticizing, just thought it was weird it showed up in there. It might be doing it if you copied them from a word processor or notepad or something like that?

maybe when cutting and pasting, got too close to something that was already formatted and computer inserted it. that happens to me all the time.

if, for instance, i cut and paste a headline that is bolded, in a different font than the default arial and sized bigger and then i cut and paste something else and put it on the same line or accidentally backspace when i'm making it pretty, the whole thing will pick up the coding from the headline. and lots of times i can't get rid of the coding so i'll just delete the 2nd cut and paste and do it over. occasionally i cannot delete everything and i have to start fresh. esp when it's in some sort of box and i can't get rid of the box no matter what i do. so annoying. who's the master, me or the computer? not me.

Its not HTML coding, its called BBcoding, which was created to give users a more limited formatting choice similar to the HTML they were used to using.

If you are not posting in the editor view choice which shows all the coding you will copy and paste whatever coding someone else used without "seeing" it either where it was copied or after you've pasted. It will only be seen once you preview or post the information. Its not intentional, but can cause problems in things like this wiki where length and character limits are important.

As was said this has happened before and may be in part due to the numerous wikis and other special accommodations in this thread. Hard to know without poking around in the admin panel and knowing what all is being used to compare against known issues.

AWESOME! Couldn't REP you again yet lol. Between the Commissary and Target and these great Kellog's Qs, I'm stocked with super cheap cereal for at least a year! I even had to be super picky about the cereal I purchased based on expiration dates then had to stash everything away in reverse order of expiration to make sure we get to everything before those dates. My husband was laughing at me organizing cereal and my kids wanted to eat everything then and there!

We back up to wiki character limitations all the time, so if you can keep the info short, helps the wiki's alot.
