was looking around for a more "budget" way of mounting the camera in my vehicle. Was not willing to pay a premium for the official Contour accessories to mount on the windshield in vehicle.

Suction Pod Headset Folder for Camera and Cellphone .. 4.95
free shipping with Prime..

i received my today.. after putting in order on Thursday...and it works perfect... only thing is the color of the mount.. a light bluish mount.. would have prefer it for a black....

2nd pic shows the "clamplike" clip i removed.. easily unscrewed from the threaded head..
3rd pic show the cam mounted on it.. thread is the normal std thread size for tripod heads... so it fits any camera perfect..
4th mounted in vehicle... perfect.. no vibration and it stays on...

i put in a order for a extra one for my second car... :bounce:

Update :
After 5 mins of posting i went to Amazon and check and its all gone... :).. stocks qty was low

in some states its illegal to have a video screen where the driver can see it.

its mounted behind rear view mirror, so its partially obscured by it.. and there is no video screen for the ContourRoam Cam...

if you are pointing to the item at my bottom section of windshield .. its my GPS..

Maybe he was thinking mounting monitors to watch videos instead of cam

what you do is root a chinese GPS and just load movies onto that

and ofc pray to God you don't hit an oncoming car when you're out driving :)
