I'm looking for your advice on what credit card to hit up next. My objective is to maximize cash back and I expect I may be doing significant spending on tech / electronics at Amazon, Newegg, TigerDirect, etc...all the ones we see at SD.
SD alerted me to the Southwest Visa, and got the 50K miles there. I figure that this earns about 1% (1 point = $0.01, or better depending on the deal with gift cards, or if I actual do get to use them for flights).
With the various cash back sites, it looks like I can earn 1.5% to 4%, depending on the vendor I am purchasing from.
I keep seeing Discover, Chase Ultimate Rewards Visa, and Mastercard coming up with various programs, some rotating on groups, etc.. Eventually, I probably should have them all. In the meantime, instead of applying for all (and zapping my FICO score with the hard pulls), what makes sense to go to first?
