Monoprice's 28 AWG 6' cable is $3.50, and their shipping price to Ohio is $3.31! That's almost $7. C'mon monoprice - we know shipping on that item is probably no more than .50 cents. I'm about done with them. I knew shipping went up with fuel prices on wall mounts, but this takes the cake on a tiny cable.

In for about 5 of these...

The 10' come in handy as well when you have longer runs, or in wall runs. Every once in awhile you'll have a friend/relative buy a TV and need these. Saves them a ton of cash, and these are even more valuable now that monoprice doubles their prices with shipping.

Oooh thanks for the info Buckeyefan1. Rep up for you too. Yeah, I might as well grab two then if they're a dollar a piece and Free shipping!

Any feedback on Meritline HDMI cables?

I recieved a novelty item from them for really cheap. I only picked it up cause it was practically free. The quality on it is OK. I'm wondering about their HDMI.

They work fine for hooking the cable box w/HD or dvd player to your TV. Not sure I'd use it on
3D though. They don't feel flimsy like getting a coax cable at a dollar store (had to do that one time---it "worked" but it was shoddy)

Laptop to Reciever, Xbox to receiver, cable box to receiver, receiver to tv.

Thats 4 cables already.

That said - 2 already have went bad. No idea why. Just the cables went bad and won't do video anymore. Not sure if they are monoprice, meritline or ebay cables because I've bought so many cables at different places.

BTW 30gauge sounds REALLY light for cables. I would think that like 26 or 28 would be more normal.

It's digital, which means it either works or it does not! With digital signal transfer, PQ is a factor of the video source and display only not the cable. So, once again, it either displays a picture or it doesn't.

You wouldn't be telling me that you have a plethora when you don't even know what a plethora is would you? :cowboy: no :sombrero:

Apparently it is you who doesn't know exactly what it means, since you are questioning my usage. Plethora means "in excess". If you're thinking it needs to be many things, you're incorrect--- it can be as little as one or two if it is more than needed, a little like superfluous (you may want to look that up too before you make a fool of yourself again), which differentiates if from"passel", which the other poster used correctly. Nice try though.

By the way, since you brought up incorrect word usage, exactly what does the word "disrepesction" mean? You used it in a previous post. Even if it is in part a typo, the correct word is disrespect, not disrepection, which I doubt is even a word. Amazing!
Also, even if you had said "disrespect" the sentence would have been incomplete grammatically.

In other words, know what the hell you're talking about before you attempt to insult or correct someone.
