I've had big problem with savemore even after following all the instructions properly.
ANd this is coming from someone that tracks lots of rebates all the time.

Nope, you can't use a coupon with a gift card. On several occasions when I have had a gift card and a coupon the system will not let it go through because coupons are to be used in conjunction with your Macy's credit card and not a gift card.

Yes you can. A gift card is a form of payment. You present your coupon first, then use gc to pay. I have done this many times.

This is where you went wrong. There are certain coupons that can ONLY be use with a Macys credit card. No form of payment other than a Macys CC will work with these. Those are usually mailed with your billing statement and are sometimes in the mailers/ads.

Most other coupons found in newspapers, mailers, ads, and online can be used with any form of payment.

I agree. I've had a couple deals go through but then I've had a couple not. I pay, order my card, and never get anything. Trying to contact them is a joke. I'm having my credit card company do chargebacks because of the problems. Order at your own risk.

I agree. Have not received their CVS/Pharmacy card or the Barnes & Noble card in 2 months.

I know some of you had a good experience with this site but let me tell you that you will not know until a deal goes sour how good or bad the site is

Im assuming you didnt order any deals that included digital doorstep in December
and January. Most people didnt receive anything. Ofcourse we know its digitial doorstep and saveology or other deal sites didnt have hindsight to forecast this nor they have capacity to move to another provider and honor the deal themselves. Even if i take all the above and tell myself sometime things happen and although i spent time purchasing the deal it cannot be honored.. look how saveology proceeds from here on

1) They know about digital doorstep not honoring the codes past a particular date but they post nothing on their facebook page nor send customer any email. Unless the customer complaints they ask him/her to send email to refunds queue (take Plumdistrict -> They posted the updates on facebook what was going on for everybody to see)

2) Saveology says 5-7 business days for refund (why - they wont tell you), but u dont get any refund after those 5-7 days until you follow up and complaint again. (take Plumdistrict -> They refunded in 1-2 days most people who complained)

3) Saveology will not acknowledge any refund emails you send to them .. they will keep you hanging and guessing. Next CS says they can only handle purchase of deals All refunds go through separate queue which cannot be handled by them nor they can transfer you to person/group who handles them (take Plumdistrict -> They acknowledged all emails in 24 hours most people who complained)

You can decide now if this site is professional and worth dealing with once you get into a problem and will make it right ? Until that you may enjoy dealing with them at your own risk
