what was the error message you received? it usually says something at the top

There are two groups of people who can't receive PMs.

1) People who physically block PM in their SD configuration.
2) Users who have changed their Email and have not clicked the verify link.

And you checked here (http://www.slickdeals.net/forums/private.php?)? They may have sent you a Private Email which comes via your email account not the on site message system.

Yup...checked there...I had one this mornin from someone else....I checked my settings...and they were fine....cept I do have the email feature blocked.....but they said PM....maybe they meant email? would they get a notice that I have the email blocked? (only blocked in my SD settings)

You also must wait between sending PMs, 120 seconds I believe. Its a pain, but keeps people from flooding everyones PM box with junk.

Now that's just strange. Half my PMing involves sending URLs. Hold on, I'm gonna send you a test PM.

It sent just fine. I'm not sure what the problem is.
