free shipping + free basic alterations are the only hard benefits. There are some soft perks like faster rewards during some periods of the year.
IMO free shipping is a big deal now since they have increased the minimum purchase to $ 100 for free shipping on basic BR Card.

you also can get garment bags for free pretty much whenever you want (just ask) and they'll search for and ship items to your house for free if they don't have them in the store (good for finding shoes or clothing that went on sale but they don't have your size). You can even call 1-888-BRSTYLE and have them do a search of retail stores for an item if the item is no longer available online - they'll locate the item and ship it to you free of charge. Awesome customer service.

Hi guys. I called BR customer service line for Luxe members. They told me that if you became a Luxe member PRIOR to the change in policy, then you are a Luxe member for life. There is no need to spend $800 to maintain Luxe status. They then transferred me to the Credit department to confirm that I am in the Luxe for Life program. Unfortunately, if you became a Luxe member after the policy change, you will have to spend $800 every year to maintain Luxe status. You can contact BR for any questions about your status. Hope this helps.

I was at a BR store today and they were having a 20% off all regular priced items promotion going on to celebrate the opening of their flagship store in London. This promotion is Valid from April 10th thru 13th.

They were also giving out friends and family coupons good for use between April 21st and May 4th. This coupon is good for 15% off a 75$ purchase or 20% off $75 purchase with your BR card.

Maybe it varies by store? The one's we have in Vegas, are really nice. I have some items from 6 years ago that I still wear and they look and feel wonderful. The martin pants are really nice and the cut is great for me. The shirts are true to size for me. I like their sweater tops and cardigans. Usually my factory store has a better selection than the BR store. Also in Vegas the BR stores are usually at the casino's or they cater to tourists.:eek: Well have a good day.:)

Went to the store today, and they were giving out the "Banana Republic City Insider" booklet with any purchase until 09.07.08.
