Here are some rules:

1) When the magazine has been spoken for, please update your original post to signify that. Such as:

2) Everyone please try to keep posts to this thread to magazines you want to donate/trade. Not, I'll take Islands and The Week. These messages will be deleted!

3) To request the magazine being offered, Send a PM (Private Message) to the poster buy clicking on the posters User Name and selecting "Send a private message to ...". This allows the poster to see by date/time stamp who requested it first and keeps this thread to a minimum. Plus it also keeps this transaction among the poster and requester private.

4) Any personal information posted to this thread (Names, Address, etc.) will be deleted. All communication MUST be done via private messages.

5) For posters, you may want to check out the thread Checking your subscription online (http://forums.slickdeals.net/t22586.html). Most magazines can be switched with the new name/address online.

its called stacking. you see a free sub. to a magazine one week. then in a few more weeks you see another free sub. to the same magazine. you sign up for both and they should give you 2 years for free. repeat for as many years as you want the magazines. i sometimes you the same link to signup twice.

i just sign up for the offers and i usually use the same info so it just tacks on to the account. sometimes i'll end up with 2x copies of a months issue and i just contact the magazines customer support and ask them to merge the two accounts :D

how you can check your magazines subscription? usually by going to the magazine website (like seventeen.com, cosmogirl.com, or whatever) and then going to customer service or something like that. Then they might be an option for something like view my account??? and then it'll eventually tell you how many issues you have left. Or on most issues it'll tell you on the label with your address and name:)
