Lord....deal posting can be brutal. Posting contests in the contest forums is usually a good way to start out. They're pretty nice there :)

And if people give you a bad time in HD...just :slap: them...they are bitter people, lol ;) Just figure for however many people may threadcrap, you've probably also helped out a Lot of people who are lurkers or don't post :)

Awww, thank you! :hug: I've been feeling kind of cruddy for the past two days. Very tired, just generally "blah." I have had no appetite, and when I do make myself eat, food tastes weird. I have also had the chills, a runny nose, a bit of a scratchy throat, and the kicker...my right eye is all sore and swollen.

At first I was thinking I might have the flu, but when I looked up Mono symptoms, I noticed that you can sometimes get swollen eyes. Plus, I have all of the other symptoms, except for a sore abdomen. Maybe I am just being paranoid :lol:

I had Mono when I was a young teenager, but I can't remember too much about the early stages of it except for being exhasuted and wanting to sleep all day.

There is a major bad flu going 'round...mom has it...and doc said for no visitors for about 3 weeks! So I can bring the boys over to see gandma...:(

My recollection is about the same as yours - extreme fatigue. :faint: In my case, there was apparently some overlap between a few conditions (bronchitis, pneumonia and Epstein-Barr/Mono). It's difficult for me to determine the beginning insofar as I was ill for a long time and received the diagnoses over the course of several months.

I'm not sure what you have, but you should probably see a doctor based on the symptoms you have described. It's far too easy to freak out with a diagnosis from the internet. :whee: It seems that regardless of what you actually have - be it the flu, cold or whatever - the internet will diagnose you with MRSA. :lol:

I wouldn't worry too much about Mono at this point though since it's only been a couple of days. Hopefully, it won't turn out to be something serious and you can can recover quickly! Get well soon! :hug:
