I was just in the Hot Deals section and one person had over 34 new threads in the first 2 pages alone. This drives better posts farther back in the pages as most of his were amazon junk.

if they are junk then the mods can kill it, I would hate to set a limit on new threads because then I would not be able to get all of my worth daily news from Benno and the Raddish

In the actual deal sections is what i meant. The lounge is fair game for posting.

just mod alert it...all he is trying to do is help out but if he is posting stupid deals, then mod alert it and they can have a talk with him

We don't have to limit the amount of posts posted in a thread in a thread but this Shant21 is really just wasting space by posting so many threads at one time. I mean, it's way more than 32...

Speaking of new threads, is there any way to get an email when new slick deals (one's that make the homepage) arrive? This would be great for the deals that only last a few hours...

you can try slickalerts (http://www.slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=8642) - as far as I know the e-mail notification is not currently implemented.

...Unless you already have an RSS reader, in which case the regular RSS feed works wonderfully.
Mailing list has not been alive in quite a while. But RSS is better, frankly.
