Automerge not working

I posted three replies in a row on the same thread and none of them automerged like they are supposed to.

Any reason?

automerge only works if its i think under 2 minutes or so. 3 + will not be merged.

It wasn't designed to replace the Edit button :). It was designed to help fight certain issues with high latency connections, when occasional double posts were detected.

For the thread you quoted, you should use the MultiQuote feature instead :)

FYI- multi quote is this button http://i.slickdeals.net/images/buttons/multiquote_off.gif on a post. You can click as many posts as you want and then click the one that says reply and reply to them all at once. :)
