Just clarifying that VIB means spending $350 in a calendar year. It has nothing to do with what you redeemed. If you meant saving up for the 500-point perk you just accumulate and do not need to be a VIB for that since it just shows up as an option at checkout.

I recently purchased and :heart: the Urban Decay Naked palette. Does anybody know of any other brand of eyeshadow that is on par with Urban Decay -- namely, in how easily it goes on and blends. I have the Ammo palette but hardly ever use it because many of the colors are just to glittery. I have Smashbox, Lorac, Stila, Lancome, Too Faced, and while I love them all, I think that the UD just seems easier to apply. I would like more color options that are not so glittery/glimmery that is why I inquire about other brands. Any ideas or recommendations? TIA :)

Have you tried MAC? Their eyeshadows are really great. I feel the same way about Urban Decay - I wish they skipped the glitter!

I'll second the MAC, especially for such a wide range of colors.

I also like Dior shadows. The colors are very toned down, but I really like them.

Don't know if your interested in Drugstore brands but I personally love loreal HIP its really pigmented and goes on very smooth for me. I always use a primer with it so it stays on all day. I usually buy it at krogers (A grocery store)walgreens or cvs when it goes on sale with a coupon and get it really cheap. I have gotten alot of compliments and women have asked me what I am wearing when I have it on so must be somewhat ok.

I know what you mean about the Urban Decay- it's sooo creamy and blendable yet highly pigmented! I like Stila eyeshadows for the same creaminess and blendibility, although some shades have really no pigment, so I'd test before you buy.Some Stila shades are AWESOME, others not so much. I love MAC eyeshadows as well but most of my favorites are Limited Edition and L'oreal hip is a good drugstore option and they usually have sales and coupons. There are also some Shiseido eyeshadow colors that are really nice! Very pigmented and smooth!

I ended up having to call in my order yesterday since their online system would not take two gift cards plus an e-gift card I had won all at the same time for payment. Is it an item still available in store? Is it an item that could have gone all gross in the last year and something they they could still sell?

Maybe it's just easier to do a return without a receipt, if you're afraid of the date.

None of the items are gross (a couple of rollerball perfumes, makeup remover, and opi hand sanitzer), but I think the makeup remover and sanitizer is no longer for sale at sephora. Everything is sealed too.

Why can't they give us more of a heads up on promos like this? I'd skip bringing the receipt and just asking for a gift card. My recent experience:

I just went this week to a sephora in KC, Oak Park mall--biggest one in the area to do a return. I'd been to a smaller one in my area and mentioned that I had failed to return way too many items. That clerk told me to just bring it all in to the bigger store because they carry more items than the smaller stores, that it didn't matter if I had the receipts or boxes.
I had spent a few weeks throwing things in a bag that I thought might have come from sephora that had disappointed me. It was no problem. First she walked around the store to pick up items in the box to have the upcs, others she looked up in the data base. She simply told me which items weren't theirs. Very nice experience.
Surprised me how big the gift card ended up being for such a small bag of goods.
Ended up *finally* getting my clarisonic and a gentle brush. I'd been using a dupe. The real thing is so much better it's not funny.
Going shopping w/ my bff tonight, told her to throw her stuff in a bag and I'd go with her for the return (she hates to return) but she spends a fortune there every year and I know she should get rid of what doesn't work.

Thanks for the tip! I think a have like return-phobia which is why the items haven't been returned sooner. I think I will try your method this weekend.
