This is what I was told after I emailed:

If you were an Allure Beauty Expert Panel Member before - you should have received an email a while back saying that you needed to do a survey to continue being a member.

They are revamping the program.

If you have never been a member before - (or didn't do the survey to stay a member) this is the place to join/rejoin!

im a little confused after reading the directions. the part 2 tube... is that one time use? are we supposed to use it all after the part 1, or do we use it like a styler, each time we blow dry or flat iron our hair?

i was thinking it's like hair color... you get the conditioner to use once a week or whatever, so the part 2 of this is like a styler... :dontknow:

i got mine today too... yep does seem like hair color in that you use all the product at one time

i checked their website and the FAQ (http://www.garnierusa.com/_en/_us/blow-dry-perfector/index.aspx#/faq) and found this... in case anyone wondered the same thing :wink5:

basically, yes you can save step 2 and reuse it as a blow dry cream :girly:

Has anyone tried this product yet? I'm kinda nervous after a review which was posted in the Bzz Agent thread from an outside website. Talks about hair breakage and major damage after use of this product! I'm kind of scared to use it on my color treated hair now.

for all we know they colored their hair recently, didnt follow directions, or they just have brittle, dry, unhealthy hair already. we dont know...

chances are since this is to help smooth frizz, many people with unhealthy, dyed, dry hair will use it to help the frizz cause by damage. i think it will only make it worse, but oh well....

i tried the Garnier HerbaShine because im a beauty junkie. i have to try new things at least once. well, i hated it. the color is supposed to be semi permanent. the color lasted for months, and i can still see a red tint (i used a red brown color). SO BAD! i'm never using that again. clairol FTW!

My hair is relatively long and I usually love trying anything that has even a tiny chance of keeping my hair straight but I am so0o0o not willing to chance the loss of 4 or 5 inches of it to test this one out.

Contacted them earlier because the Garnier never arrived but I had received two emails about the followup discussion, received an email back requesting my mailing address. Same thing has happened twice before with PTs for them even though my correct address is on file.

Received the acceptance email today regarding this. Super nice PT. Shampoo= $18, conditioner = $20 and hair mask = $29 at Sephora.com!

I just discovered that this haircare line is aimed towards African American women and I'm caucasian. But I used it this morning and my hair is super soft! The smell is a little overpowering though. Nice scent, but strong.

I think her products were originally aimed at AA's with natural hair (no relaxers/chemicals) but now her company is more mainstream. You're right it is a strong scent, I could smell it before I opened it!
