View Full Version : Thread creation limitations? Private Poll included
Just a thought, but would it be possible to put a limit as in time or how many threads you can create in such and such time. I'm just saying that having 15 threads created in by one user in...um...5-6 minutes is kind of overboard, especially when it happens almost every evening..specifically in Hot Deals...can we have a limit to like 5 threads created in the Hot Deals section every maybe hour(per user that is) or something reasonable? Because it gets a little bit cluttery considering it buries other threads pretty quickly..

Why would you want to limit someone from posting deals? Unless they are posting nothing but junk/spam, in which case, just mod alert them.

if someone particulary has ahabit of it and you don't like them, there's the ignore feature.
there are plenty of other people who set aside time every day to go lookf or deals. depending on waht's out there.. they might find 10 deals soon. we're nto going to say that they can't post.

This would be awful for the contest section. When I used to post contests every morning I could post a ton of threads within an hour because all the new contests are posted on a multitude of sites around the same time.
