I was trying to send a private message, which includes an email address. I got an error message saying that "Your Private Message contains one or more URLs, please remove them before submitting your message again."

So I deleted the email address, but I received the same error message and still couldn't send out the private message.

Can anybody help? Thanx.

Post a reply here with the text of your PM, and hit the "Preview Post" button. Does it give you a similar message, or change any of the text of your post? If it blocks or changes any of the text, that is probably where your problem lies.

Both of them worked here. I'll try to send the PM again...

Still didn't work. So I sent the PM without the email address inside, and it was OK.
Thanks for your help.

I tried different messages, the observation is: the PM software doesn't allow words with dots (it treats them as a URL), so I replated the dots with "_", and the PM went through.
Is it a bug or some kind of intended feature?
